Iam from the Netherlands and to be honest I like Indian martial arts but I have one opinion, it would be very nice if the put some uniform some traditional Indian outfit🥋 in the Kalari martial arts. like the Japanese have for karate. Other than that it's amazing
You are right sir Normally my father used to say when he used to be in Kalari (Dojo) they didn't wear except one Langot (India Tie- a sort of tight supporter inner-wear). The attire is used for demonstration purposes, otherwise, when you visit a Kalari you can find people wearing regular trousers or Lower in the case of ladies.

Once i thought kalari is a legit martial art... But then i started observing this i found out it got no use in real life combat... If so why they participate in big platforms like mma or ufc or one championship. They can get famous, lot of money and foreigners came here for this...Kalari is just a cardio thats all... When its comes to hand to hand combat.. Its one of worst and ineffective fighting form... Its not real or spontaneous reaction all choreographed displays thats all.... Even an mma fighter with 6 months of experience can destroy these kalari masters with years of experience....a bantam weight or flyweight can ragdoll these fake fighters.....

This is the biggest misunderstanding of traditional martial arts. Mma ends with hand to hand combat. Traditional arts begin with hands to prepare you to use weapons. You're not going to spend hours learning to choke someone when you have a sword that cuts his head off
