I went on one trip and the guide took us up on a very long rough route, and then he showed us the way down, which was very similar to this. I'd told him I wish to go back through the same way we came up, but he refused, so did my friend. I had to basically crawl all the way down and nearly died multiple times after mis-stepping. Watching this brought back those memories.

Completely agree I have really bad vertigo so I don't know why I watch videos like this but they are very brave. But like you said one wrong step and it is bad news
one mistake and slip of foot on slippery steps in rain and he will make sure his family and loved ones will cry whole life.what an adventure and arrangement for family.
Yeah I seen some people climbing another fort in pouring down rain in just trainers and sandals when it was very slippy. The descent down was even worse because they were on very narrow stairs with no hand grips and about 50 tourists were coming up the steps as 50 tourists were coming down and it created a traffic jam of people all trying to get past each other on very narrow and extremely steep steps. How nosy fell and died I don't know
I can never in a million years even try stuff like this i know my clumsy self would iv slipped just on the first step and fell into that Gorge....respect to this man for risking his life like this.

While serving in Afghanistan in 2002 with the Australian Army, I was in a helicopter flying through a valley close to the Hindu Kush when we saw two kids (prob no older than 8 or 9) climbing up the side of a mountain on a path just like this one. They appeared to be climbing to a tiny mud house at the top. Each child was carrying a 20l jerrycan of water. They smiled and waved at us as we flew past. I remember saying to friend of mine, ‘How tough are the Taliban if their kids can carry a jerrycan of water up the side of a mountain”. It was at that point that I formed the opinion that we were going to lose the war. It came as no surprise when we lost in 2021, almost 20 years after I saw those 2 kids.

I slipped almost 12 times on a different trek in Uttarakhand and it wasn't even that wet. It was my first trek, glad that I didn't fall into a deep trench
