Everyone should calm down. We had 17 years of legendary. Isn’t that good enough to tide folks over for a little while? He’s 5 games in to a completely new situation and there will NEVER be another CNS. Give it time. They’re not winning the natty this season. Give it at LEAST a year or two and re-assess. These expectations are astoundingly unreasonable.

I don’t have an issue with not suspending him. We don’t know what was or wasn’t done internally. From a defensive adjustment basis, I don’t know what adjustments were made, despite seemingly knowing what to do (“stop the inside run.”). Knowing what to do and being able to do it are different things entirely, and it simply looked like they didn’t have answers on defense. This is a concern until they prove otherwise… I do think we gotta acknowledge this isn’t the Vanderbilt of the past, not that Bama shouldn’t have won. They took Missouri to OT and are clearly capable of playing at a high level and beating more talented teams when the opponent doesn’t show up.

Many of us could care less about the loss compared to the way he behaved. And other players too. Several players almost gotten fights after the game and we're looking for trouble. That cannot be tolerated end of story. Our whole lives we've been able to say Alabama is a classy football program win or lose fortunately we usually win. but this is a terrible response to what occurred. And don't get it wrong, I love Malachi more and what he's done for the university but he needs to be held accountable. And he knows that deep inside. And we love him. But that can't be allowed.

A “team” where a player makes a play on first or second down, gets up and flexes over the opponent, and waves their arms as in no gain or incomplete, then gets their ass beat the next play, is not a team player and shows zero respect, sportsmanship, and discipline. One can argue that they all do it, but the ones who do it more, lose more. NIL has ruined loyalty to a team and encouraged more players to earn stats for themselves for the next step, whether they make it or not. It’s also increased those leaving the team when those stats are not being met. They’re not playing for our ALABAMA History and Tradition anymore, they’re predominantly all divas who don’t give a damn about education or camaraderie unless it’s beneficial to their individual and selfish interests. We put ranks on these kids but there’s no ranks for their hearts. Vanderbilt played with heart. Alabama players played for stats and interests. Alabama’s “preparation” was we are #1, we show up, make a few plays and still win; Vandy’s preparation was take it to BAMA on every play and don’t let off the pedal. Bama played Georgia, “play to not lose” versus play to win. Zero fundamental skills, Bama cannot tackle, trying to knock opponents down. The Offensive Line isn’t blocking. Milroe cannot read the field like a traditional QB. He makes throws that any decent QB can. The best and most ranked QB is sitting on the bench. The players and committee at Bama last year told Saban, the players aren’t going to block the same if Milroe doesn’t start. Say what you want, but race is destroying the concept and goals of a team. The defensive scheme sucks, zero pressure on QB. But let the media keep showing you all this shit is rigged for entertainment as they never ask FOOTBALL questions about Xs and Os. For those that don’t know, the qb Pavia and the coach were on the New Mexico team that upset Auburn last yr. In the past every time Saban has played against a crazy wildcat team he has always stated the importance of the coaches prepping the team for these odd looks they aren’t used too. Saban has made it clear it’s the coaches job if they aren’t prepared. There were def unlikely bounces etc but this falls squarely on Deboerr & their terrible run defense which isn’t even ranked in the top 50 btw. Also for those that don’t know Vandy lost to Georgia St. this yr.

I see people trying to defend why music at practice is what everyone else is doing. Well there is having fun at practice and there is taking practice serious to get ready. When I was at Alabama Shula had girls working out in the weight room with the players I bet that more fun than playing music at practice. How far did that get him? 4 long damn years. What I see and I think what everyone else sees is we have become a team that’s just happy with the end result and not the correct process that gets to the end results. If you block wrong tackle wrong cover the wrong guy it’s still wrong even though you get lucky and it goes your way. This why not everyone can play sports because it’s hard to do things right and still be successful.

I’ll be honest this is the first time I’ve had even an inkling of doubt about this guy. I get it we lost, but own it. I wanted to hear a little contrition, but it’s sort of the same very passive ho hum bs, and a bit of excuse making. Hopefully this is a big learning experience, but it’s all uphill now, and it’s a steep climb because all that good will is gone now.
