Ohio State squeaks by Oregon 28-24, we have played nobody and that scares me a little bit whereas Oregon had that close game vs BSU and adversity early is good for the players imo.

Typically, I'm with you, but you're wrong about Colorado's DBs. Preston Hodge is fast enough to play man. I've watched him since the Baylor game (because of Balwin's super man catch). Balwin 40 time is 4.24 and other than that one catch, he didn't burn Hodge again. So Hodge is fast enough to cover extremely fast receivers.

@@BrandonColePhotography Klatt is a long time Colorado fan. Long time Colorado are just waiting for it to come crumbling down. Years and years of rooting for them you occasionally get built up and you’re just waiting to get let down. In 2016, we played incredibly, but lost key games to Michigan (should’ve won but the QB got hurt) and couldn’t get past Washington. We had all the tools to be in the CFP but when it mattered most they collapsed under the pressure. Klatt speaks for most of us.

As someone who has gotten married within the last few years (our anniversary is on Ohio State Penn) I hate weddings I hate going to them I hated having mine, it was wildly expensive for people who haven't spoken to me since. I'm with you Klatt. I'm not a fan of them. They jack up the prices of everything because they feed off soon to be brides emotions. That's my two cents but I'll be firmly planted watching Will and my Buckeyes Saturday night.

In terms of traditions it is sad Ohio State took away jumping into Mirror Lake after the incident. There was just something energizing about making that "pilgrimage" at least once while you are on campus. RIP.
It’s ridiculous the way Joel judges Will Howard. He holds him to a completely different standard than everyone else. Carson Beck has 4 turnovers in one game…No problem. Dillon Gabriel throws 3 red zone interceptions in two games…No problem. Will Howard throws incomplete pass…Im not sure if he has what it takes 🙄
I think a lowkey over looked match up is the WVU vs #11 ISU. This has big, big 12 implications due the fact both teams are undefeated in big12 play, and with the cluster at the top, a loss here may damage a chance to be in the 12 championship. I said it before, and I said it again, there is a lot of drama to be had in the big12, and should be exciting.

Love Fulsom field, went to a bunch of games when I lived there, your right next to the players, very underrated college football venue.

After my wedding ten years ago. I had a fall wedding but on an Ohio state bye weekend. I knew that was the only way people would come in Columbus. But to your point weddings are expensive your throwing a party for people you really won’t see any more. Take the money go on a trip and enjoy the honeymoon get married at the court house

I am not predicting a superhuman finish, but I will predict that those young men will play with determination, strength and with an effort that reflects the traditions at Michigan,absoluteyno quit, no surrender. Name your record, but be willing to stand by your team, if heaven forbid my Michigan men upset your team. At this point in the season all the "experts" have Michigan an underdog in most all of the remaining games.

Texas will beat Oklahomas eyes out. Peyton Thorne threw for over 300 yards and 3 TDs against the OK defense. They forced a very timely Int that led directly to points which is the only reason they beat AU. AU outplayed them in literally every aspect of the game statistically and just by the eye test. Texas will have to play way down for this to be close.
Ohio State very well can win it all this year. They better, they spent 20 million on their roster. Which needs to be acknowledged. Teams like, say, Michigan, WINS theirs. Ohio State buys them. If the Nutters do win it all, I move that, for one year only, they redesign the National Championship Trophy to that of a giant dollar sign. Just saying. Go Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.
Hey Joel! Love the show. I don't want to get into a debate on the playoffs, we will have to agree to disagree. I do want to just clarify our position in the anti-expansion camp. It's not just that we think that the regular season will become less important (which I still think is her to be proven), but that we enjoy the unique position of college football where you need to be perfect. As an Ohio State fan, that's part of what made the rivalry with TTUN so great. We couldn't win a title without beating them. When my pro team loses, it's disappointing, but I'm not crushed. College however, was a sport that demanded perfection, and that set it apart from the pros. That made the games more interesting, even though it hurt Ohio State on several occasions, as recently as last year. Hope this helps!

I'm just here to hear Joel klatt weekly CU hate. This guy has went against Colorado. EVERY week. He went against them in UCF, Baylor, and now Kstate. Every week. And then he ends up looking STUPID because he just hates CU so much . We know what happened to K state last time at elevation. Thats what happens when you have such a weak QB that cant even PASS. First. BYU has not played a worthy offense at all. Let alone a high passing offense. So I dont think BYU as good as people think until I see how they have played against a more balanced team with at GREAT passing game and run game. BYU corners should get beat against an actual passing game. Their yards per play is mainly because of stopping the run because again they havent played a passing team. Colorado showed growth?? Like they are not incredible. I dont like the way he talks about this one dimensional KState team. Everyone wants to talk about how these teams run. But nobody is talking about how CU is shutting down these run teams. Everyone wants to run because nobody can PASS on CU. Why are we ignoring that? You can't run for 4 QUARTERS. Avery is TRASH. One of the lowest completion percentages and they are 125th in passing. Why are we ignoring that? Why are we ignoring that CU just shut down UCF, arguably the best run offense that ever said would run all over CU and CU completely shut them down. What happened? Stack the box and we DARE you to throw the ball. CU will stack the box and MAKE K state throw the ball. We dare Avery to throw. BYU did the same thing. Take away the run and K STATE cant pass. Its simple. Let's stop talking like Kstate has a bunch of weapons. CU has ALL THE WEAPONS and let's not forget they are #1 in the nation now in red zone and #1 in the big 12 in LB against the run. BYU had a 5 min span where Kstate threw a pick 6 , then had spec teams blunders & fumbles - take out that 5min time block game much closer - but yea your point is valid

( To be fair, people already say that) Granted it’s his opinion and job to be fair on who he thinks will win, but I think they want to avoid having Joel make a pick on his game, due to backlash of what may seem as “tampering.” Along with the promotion of gambling it could be ugly. However, I agree with you, I think he should give an honest opinion on the games he calls. Though I understand why Joel doesn’t want to.
