Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer speaks to reporters on April 11, 2024 ahead of his first A-Day spring football game. AL.com media coverage presented by Inline Electric Supply Co. Inc.
He's going to surprise A LOT of people this year, which doesn't make sense to me. He has outclasses Lanning and Sarkisian already. Kirby is about learn the same lesson.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Dubose and Shula….we’re the absolute worst head coaches outside of Ears Whitworth ever to coach a Bama football team! Keeping your expectations low is one thing…But give Coach KDB some credit…He has improved every single team he has coached drastically…and Bama has been lackluster the past 3 yrs…I can’t wait to see what our guys look like today! Roll Tide!
What are you talking about? Saban was the one that changed the A Day game format. For decades it was a real game where players played to win. Saban made it little more than a controlled practice session where the playbook was extremely limited so as not to show other teams what they were working on and the stars played about 15 minutes then sat on the bench for the rest of the day. The clock didn't stop and the whole game was over in a little more than an hour. No wonder attendance dropped so much.
