Not the way this song was meant to be played. These guys are very good but to us oldtimers Wilson Pickett sang it right. Not ratatat tat, but nice slow and groovy...Just sayin....
@@rlhunt7656 Speak for yourself!... I'm an oldtimer myself; I absolutely love Wilson Pickett, and his original version of this song -- and always will!; AND I happen to be a person of color! (not that that matters in the least!). But I also happen to love this version of Mr. Pickett's iconic song, as done by Kaleo!!! I actually view it as a modern day homage to Wilson Pickett, that takes absolutely nothing away from his original version!!!
Does anyone know if this is one of their songs or a cover? It's just so much fun that I really hope they do a current release of it. Also, it's so great seeing them starting out and playing a car show. Imagine all the work that went into getting to where they are now.
