Hey everyone! We're hanging out at Okzygen, doing up something a little bit more on the obscure side. Today we're ripping through a tune called Hades, by the Finnish melodic death group Kalmah! Someone shared this group with me long, long ago, back during the first iteration of this channel. Similar in style to Children of Bodom, this group had a bit more of a classical flair to them at the time, with more of a lean on harpsichords compared to synths.
This video is just a single pass of the lead guitars, as I haven't had much time to learn and record the rhythms as tight as I would like. That being said, the lead guitar plays consistently throughout the whole tune, flying over top of all the vocal parts maintaining a consistent melody. It's definitely a bit on the black metal spectrum of things at parts, with just a ton of tremolo picking parts.
