I might consider voting for Kalonzo in 2027 only if he presents a clear agenda. This would lead me to reconsider my support for Musalia, whom I believe should become president one day.
Did he just say government does not need to build houses because that should be left to foreign investment?? Sorry to say these are politicians who have no idea or worse still don’t care. My good people the property developers will always be here and all over Africa, we have unmatched beauty and haven’t even scratched the surface. Is not the business of government to build house for people but its the governs role to create conducive environment for business to thrive and people will build their own houses.
I once asked a banker why developers don’t build affordable flats , he’s answer was ‘ the profits will not good enough’. How can a low income worker build 1 or 2 bed apartment in a town or city for 1.5 M or 4M?

@@cyruskavwele5304 Nobody likes paying taxes, and it is said the laws (set up in the West) are laid out to benefit the Richest… if we are taxing to pull others out of the ditch then it doesn’t feel that bad. I remain optimistic , better than growing the ghettos, poverty and crime.
