Ruto is a president who never listens to people. He does things at his own will and to his own volution. He's a master of know it all. He wants to run the country like his family and at his will. Woe unto you king, repent and change. Unleashing the military to the citizens of kenya will be one of the gravest decisions you will be making in your presidency. As an African born in America, I am so proud of my brothers and sisters in Kenya and the diaspora. The presence of US representatives and politician of African descent is not a coincidence. There is no hidden agenda, The US and Europe through the IMF and the World Bank are why Imperialism does not need any troops on the continent. The book I read in college, Aid As Imperialism illustrates why African countries are only independent on paper. Your brother Walter Rodney in How Europe Underdeveloped Africa show why we must develop an economic system not borrowed from our colonizers. The protest are a symptom of the larger problem of not developing an an economic/political based on our African experience. We were warned in Kwame Nkrumah's "Neo-Colonialism The Last Stage of Imperialism, the President of Kenya and others on the continent are serving in this capacity. The IMF told the president to "ignore" the protest. Whatever the contradictions are in China, the only way they were able to achieve that they have achieved in just forty years is that they developed and economic/political system based on their national identity. They have never surrendered their cultural identity to those who have invaded them.
One can understand the devastation caused by this shattered economy as many are also affected globally. We hope peace will come to this beautiful country. Hope its leaders listen intently to the concerns of all its people. Please Please work together at the table and discuss peacefully. Don't allow external forces to bring conflict. The whole world loves your country and is saddened to see turmoil in this beautiful land.

Ruto reaction should not be harsh but cautious. He must listen and take appropriate measures to resolve the route causes of the problem. Check Rigat Gacaguwa, Mama Ngina, Presidet Uhuru grievances and resolve them. Unemployed youth are everywhere and they have not all reacted as GEN Z. Then establish emergency employment fund to support youth employment. Kenya must be safe again.
Yesterday protest was true protest. Youth is power and good there was no political party engaged in the protest otherwise …….. seen lots of videos on RU-vid and the next generation wants their own country in a peaceful, democratic, developing nation .

This is the only way Central Kenya regains power without an election. By ousting Ruto through protests, leading to a military takeover. If Ogola had not been killed, the situation would likely have shifted to Nyanza once Ruto is ousted. I personally doubt the president's involvement in Ogolla's death. He seems to be a convenient scapegoat for someone to exploit and attribute the blame to the president. The ongoing protests no longer seem solely motivated by the finance bill. If that were the case, dialogue should have been pursued after the president's agreement not to sign the bill as demanded by Kenyans. It feels like seizing power through clandestine means.
