Kalpitiya: I Shouldn't Have Listened to Them 🇱🇰 

KALPITIYA, SRI LANKA: I'm leaving Kalpitiya - the only problem is I have ZERO fuel meaning I have a bit of a petrol panic! The owner of my hotel told me to take the quickest route into town, which was apparently 4km down a dirt road however, in many places it was totally flooded from the monsoon rains and ended up being quite the nightmare!
Fortunately I made it without drowning the bike, found the petrol station and was eventually on my way in this Sri Lanka road trip to Anuradhapura. My conclusion was that maybe the hotel owner was being a little devious with his advice.
