Here is the clarification. This video is a tribute to all women of Ukrainian Armed Forces who fight in war against russian invaders and serve as medics, scouts, snipers etc. This video itself is a story about 3 women and 3 girls. First woman leaves her daughter to the grandparents and leaves to the frontlines (Train station scene) Second woman finds a girl in a destroyed city and brings her back to her mother (Shelter scene) Third woman brings a girl to the church and then that girl disappears which means she died and her soul has gone to heaven. Meanwhile, her mother is walking on the graveyard and it means she died too. The final scene with a little girl holding a Molotov and a burning tanks metaphorically represents Ukraine and russia (which is like 25 larger than Ukraine and way more powerful, but Ukraine fiercely fights back no matter the odds). The singer's mother is Stefania. After this song was released to the world, he dedicated it to ALL moms, not just his own. If you like the "flute player", he also plays in the awesome band Go_A. =) If you want the story in the video: One soldier is bringing a lost child to a safety center where she's reunited with her mom, one soldier is leaving her daughter with her parents and boards the train to go back to the battlefield, and one soldier brings a child to a priest, because the child is already deceased. The deceased child is reunited with her soldier mother who had also died.

Before you move on to other songs, you really should react to their live performance of this. The video is quite heartbreaking and makes it hard to enjoy this fabulous song to the fullest, and their performance and stage presence is so energetic and well, it's just electric!!! These guys are my favorite new group. Cant get enough of them!!! Ok. Someone in the thread may have already explained this, but just incase...... the first woman (soldier) finds a child and returns her to her mother. The second takes her daughter to her grandparents, because she must go back and fight. The last....well you see the woman walking with her child, you then see her walking through a graveyard alone, then the child is with her again when she gives them to the priest, it is symbolic, she is giving her child to God. The child was killed in the invasion. She returns to the fight.....and then suddenly appears walking into the cher where she finds her child and they embrace. This is the mother and child reuniting. The mother was also killed in the war. You did miss a dedication at the end. Information and a message about War. Great reaction video.....I am rewatching a lot of Reactions to Kalush. You mentioned about realizing they were filming this in realbombed out buildings...... I watched a video aboutthe making of this video and I remember a comment madeby Tim, the flute player.... One of those buildings was actually a theater that Kalush had performed at the year prior to the invasion, and all the different emotions it stirred up seeing it and performing "by" it. Its just so senseless, heartbreaking.....such evil hatefull violence against the ukrainian people.

Я щойно знайшла це відео, хоча воно вже тут майже рік.. Але на рахунок мам і дітей хоиіла пояснити.. Жінка-солдат залишила свою дитину іншим людям...можливо бабусі і дідусю..в момент, коли сідала в потяг... А потім цю саму жінку показують, як вона знайшла чужу дитину і привела до рідної мами... Тобто вона пожертвувала багато чим, щоб рятувати життя інших людей А в кінці вона приносить дитину до церкви, а потім обіймає її..тобто вона загинула і дитина, яку вона залишила, щоб піти на війну, теж загинула і вони зустрілися вже після смерті
