I think 432000 this number for kalyuga and around 43 lakhs for all yugas, is to calculate time for higher entities like life cycle of brahma ji.. But from various sources whether it is sastras, archaeological and astronomical evidences and in context with this earth.. I think the time period calculated by yukteswari giri ji is most accurate which is of 24000 years.. And which fits the period of Lord rama calculated by nasa around 7000 bc...

Actually as per many Indology researchers the numbers like lakhs of years were used for accuracy in calculations but actual years were in thousands. For example In Ramayana the the birth time of Rama was recorded and the exact constellation of Sun, Moon and other planetary position have been recoded and such combination has occurred somewhere near 12500 BC. Similarly when Sage Vedavyasa invited lord Ganesh to write down the Mahabharata while Visayas narrates whole history, river Saraswathi was flowing in full swing and vedavyasa told her to flow slowly. Now as per individual geological researchers river Saraswathi dried up around Indus valley civilization and was in its peak before 5000 BC or so. which means during dwapra yuga river Saraswathi was still a major river. So yugas does not comprises of lakhs of years, instead each yuga might of thousands of years.. So as per that, Kaliyuga might be in its ending stage and Kaliyuga have only 1 stage, Dwapara has 2 stages, Tretha yuga had three stages and so it was longer than Dvapara yuga. I think it makes sense because if yugas were of lakhs of years, it would have been very difficult to pass down all that knowledge of history to younger generations lakhs of years down the line. Just think today we cant pass message accurately to the person standing last in line. and by the time it reaches the person its meaning totally changes. How can you preserve history which happened lakhs of years before us? BUT , she is right , this is the easiest yuga in terms of attaining moksha , all you have to do is chant name of Lord. In Dwapara yuga on had to do thapas for months, in Tretha yuga one had to do thapas for years, in Sathya yuga one had to do thapas for hundreds of years. Kaliyuga is the easiest time to attain abode of lord but its tricky as majority of people are trapped in kali prabhava.

She's wrong about the fact that this is just the beginning of Kaliyuga. Yes, she is right that Kaliyug is for 432000 years but that's on a different chart with different time period. But we view our time in a different chart . Hence we can say that Krishna was here on earth some 3000 years ago and Ram was here for some 7000 years ago. We are calculating it differently. Now if we see it from her pov, then Krishna was here 864000 years ago and Ram was here 12 lakh 96 thousand years ago. She is not wrong, she is just calculating it differently....and her calculating chart is different. Many people get confused about it , it's not just her. So YES, Kaliyug is AT IT'S PEAK. This is not the beginning of kaliyug, many years have passed by and many horrible things have happened (all the points mentioned in Gita about what will happen in Kaliyug) and are still happening to some extent. And the period of Ghor kaliyug has already passed. Now is the time when everything is actually improving and it will keep on improving because this is the beginning of satyug. That's why we are inclining towards spirituality. If we look around many things are improving at a fast pace. Feminism, right to equality, LGBTQ rights, invention of amazing technologies, etc.....were these there 20 years ago? 20 years ago if a rape would take place, rape victim was accused not the monster. Things are actually improving if you see around & it wouldn't be possible if this was beginning of kaliyug ; things would have become worse. It is because we are standing on the door of Satyug these improvements are happening and will continue to happen. There is not much time left for Kaliyug ...

I believe, life of yuga cannot be so long. If Ramayana occured 7000-8000 years back, Mahabharat occured 3000 years back, how is it that kalyuga is 400000 years long. May be we are using different measurement of time or may be we need some more decoding of this.

Please read the book 'The Holy Science' by Swami Sri Yukteshwar Giri. According to a calculation he has mentioned, we are currently in Ascending Dwapar Yuga. Very interesting perspective.

Yes. we can understand that you have started with basics in 2019. But don't assume that people will not understand it. Even if you say aghor as the subject is very dense then you are correct, it's a really deep subject. But these kinds of subjects are there for ages. Not very much explored or talk on some public platforms. You should come up with some of Indian oldest universities and our own education patterns, like Nalanda or Takshila, and how the British and their Colonialism destroy our education system.

I have one question, as she mentioned Kaliyug is 432800 years. And we are at just beginning. But one thing, if we consider Mahabharat had happened 3000bc(Dwapar yuga) and Ramayan had happened 7000bc(Treta yuga), then we can calculate the difference it is 4000 years which is actually Dwapar yuga(in our time). According to veda Dwapar yuga is 864000 years. So my question is if we already spent 5000 years in kaliyug is it really beginning of Kaliyug? bcz whatever time is written over in Vedas that does not match with our time(As I mentioned dwapar yuga 4000 years in our time). Can anyone put lights on this? I want to understand the time line as well as I want to understand the where kaliyuga is heading(is it in beginning, middle or something else). I have searched it in Google as well. They are saying what we see it is linear time. According to Vedas time is cyclic.
