As you should. It's a gift and it won't matter if it's fake this time. Especially since it's from your momma. She's very considerate of your hobby. You're lucky. 😉✨
i'm a firm believer when it comes to nendoroids/figma that saving up your money a little longer for the real product, is so much more rewarding. I just LOVE how matte and clean they look compared to the fakes (i'm someone who tends to be short on cash before people think i'm writing this as someone who has loads of money)
I agree with that as well. After buying and comparing these 2 fake nendoroids, I would definitely advice to save and patiently wait rather than hurrily buy a fake. It won't last long plus it won't be worth the money. 👌
Thank yooouu~ it was supposed to be longer but I cut a lot of stuff and it was still long 😩😩 I was afraid it would get a negative feedback or something. I'm glad you see my video as informative 💯❤️
@@JennySupremo I'm not too deep into the Nendoroid scene just yet (I just pre-ordered my first the other day), but I find it to be quite calming and relaxing to watch, even if I don't have any plans of buying a ton. I actually really enjoy the longer videos and find them informative too. I could watch a whole video discussing the different boxes of bootlegs alone lol
I have a bunch of fakes ones. Most of them look good and cute but the worst one I had ever gotten was part of a set and it’s face was all the way where the chin was supposed to be.
Hi friends, PLEASE LET'S ALL BE NICE HERE. I understand some of you don't mind buying and collecting bootlegs and some of us prefer authentic figures too. Each of us collect these things to make us feel satisfied and happy. IF YOUR BELIEF IS DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS, PLEASE JUST BE KIND. It is not nice when we say bad things ESPECIALLY joking about killing. Even if this is the internet, I want this channel to be a happy place for EVERYONE. We all love anime but not everyone can have what others can. Again, please. PLEASE CHOOSE TO BE KIND. I will be deleting inappropriate comments myself. I don't mind criticisms. We welcome that here. Just don't be rude atleast. Thank you very much for understanding.
@@idkman290 I think most people already know that. you just sound dumb af and all mad. Just don’t even say shit in the first place, ur stating the obvious. Ur the reason ppl hate in the first place, cuz you trying to say it louder when everyone already knows...
I know this is an old video but I feel like it should be mentioned that bootlegs aren’t as regulated for safety and made with cheaper paints/material that could have things like asbestos or lead. And for the people recommending heating them up to make the joints easier to manipulate, while perfectly safe with the real ones, could potentially cause toxic fumes to go into the air from the bootlegs. Stay safe everyone
Wow! I didn't even know they had asbestos lead in them! That's very dangerous if so! I would like to know other materials used as well. How did you know this tho? This really needs to be known as more and more teens buy fake nendos :((
@@JennySupremoold comment, but I’ll reply anyways. As the bootleg nendoroids are made to be cheaper, they obviously cut costs a lot on production, which leads to a lot of bootleg manufacturers using toxic paint, because it’s cheaper. This has also happened a lot in the beyblade community, where parents would buy children fake beyblades with paint with lead, and some children would get lead poisoning. Ah, and by the way, as mentioned by the comment, they *may* have asbestos or lead, not all of them do
As someone who sometimes has trouble telling the difference between real and fake anime figures, just by photos alone, this video is an absolute lifesaver! I hope you can do more of these in the future?
I'm happy my videos help you 😊💘 I will be doing this series for a long time however I can't do often xD Maybe once a month I'll be able to upload a nendoroid comparison so feel free to ask for request. I can't promise but I'll take note ✌🏻
@@JennySupremo Sorry, I deleted my last reply since you said you didn't have the figure I requested. Could you do a real vs fake video on Black Rock Shooter?(if you have them?) I've noticed quite a few of those figures have bootlegs. I have the SP-012 Figma if that helps?
they’re little figures with big heads, and you have to build them yourself, they come with different heads with different facial expressions so you can swap em out
Definitely not those. Personally idk why ppl still fall into buying those. They literally look shit and suspish overall 🤦🏻♀️ things that hunt you in your dreams 😂
I’ve always wanted a nendroid fake or not but real is more preferred to support the real company! Thank you for putting time into showing your viewers what the difference is and what too look out for!
Hi Emma! Thanks for dropping by. I agree with buying the authentic nendos too. It would support the industry. I will be uploading a new Nendo comparison tomorrow too. It's of zenitsu's incase you're interested ☺️☺️
ah okay!! ive been wanting to but a nezuko nendoroid and this helps a lot, also i love your videos!! ive been watching you for a little bit now and you're so underrated!!
Awwwee this is so sweet. I'm so happy my videos could atleast entertain someone. I was afraid it would have a negative response since it was so long and boring 😂 but thank you. It means a lot to me when someone appreciates my videos 😭❤️❤️
I'm already considering a kenma since I'd love to make a comparison of a character from Haikyuu too. I'll try but looking for a kenma nendoroid will be hard. I hope you could wait until then >.
Idk why but the effects you put on the video make it look very cute haha; also half a year ago I bought my first nendoroid from Rei Ayanami (the feeling of opening it for the first time, an official figure of your favorite character bought with your savings is sublime!), fortunately it is the real and official one, and when wanting to buy one from Nezuko, this has helped me a lot, thank you very much !!
Awww thank you! This is my first ever compliment for the effects I put haha! Anyway, I'm glad you bought an authentic. ❤️ Nezuko just had a re run recently. Altho it's now past the pre order period, you can wait and expect her to come out months from now. I believe she 's going to get a re release together with Zenitsu soon ☺️
I just found your channel and I really like your content! I’ve been a figurine collector for a while and yet you still manage to inform me about issues I had no idea of! Subbed 🥰
Btw For Fake Nendoroid Try : When replacing the joint, soak it in boiling water before replacing the joint, so that it will not be pulled off. 80, 90 degree hot water soak for 10-20 minutes before playing, twist carefully
Good for you Mayu! It's nice to know your mom supports your hobby somehow. I understand she bought a fake I mean, I believe she doesn't know bootlegs exists with this things. Altho you can direct her to legit sites next time. That way, her money won't be a total waste. 🤗🤗 A gift will always be priceless so don't forget to thank and hug your mom 😉
Thanks for appreciating my video Minori 😊 I'm uploading another comparison this weekend but it's Zenitsu's nendoroid this time. In case that would interest you too 😁
Thanks for this. My mom got duped into buying me a bootleg Jotaro Nendoroid for Christmas. It had the same issues with the box not having the Good Smile or Nendoroid logos or the character name on the window. The figure was cheap plastic as well, snapping easily. The head and arm were detached in the box, too. Such a shame. I hope she gets her money back
One of my friends gave me a Rin from Fate/Stay Night Nendoroid as a gift, I noticed it was bootleg one because like you mentioned the plastic blisters, tape at the top and bottom of the box, the print of the box and so much more. Well, I kept the body while the faceplate I made a paint practice on it. Also the fake Nendoroid or bootlegs neck are well exposed and unable to push it down a little bit unlike the real ones. Yes, Nendoroid is very pricey.. not all can afford original ones.. some people purchase bootleg for customization practice and some for collection. Good job for making this video.
I'm mad that I haven't found this video before because I already paid for the fake Nezuko. But thank you for sharing this and let's hope that someone in the future won't make the same mistake as me. Thank you so much for this video
You're welcome Janet~ it's vey unfortunate you got scammed by a fake :( it's frustrating I bet. But I hope you learned something from my video so in the future, you won't get the same experience ☺️👌
man i'm brazilian, so as the price of these things is very expensive and i can't even buy the original i'm forced to buy the fake one more for me it doesn't make any difference But I would buy the original
I bought the fake Zenitsu one along with Nezuko. I'm not too sure if she's fake since she has not arrived, but im still fairly happy with the purchase. Zenitsu also looks the exact same as the original and I plan on painting Nezukos box if it annoys me too much
TBH of all my fake nendoroids, Zenitsu's fake has to be the closest to the authentic nendoroid and the cleanest lol. I havent seen any fake that looks as good yet-- Here's the comparison video if you haven't seen it yet or if you're interested to watch the comparison nyehe ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XjMS5ASdbtA.html&lc=UgwBy5DPWYnbVVkyIqR4AaABAg
Thank you for sharing your time with me! ☺️ Glad to know you find this video informative and also interesting--which is surprising since I have really boring voice and crappy editing skills haha! I hope you give my other videos chances too 😉😉
This is my first time watching one of your videos. I thought I saw something and went back to the beginning. The shirt. That’s it. I need one of those.
hi!! i love this video and i’ve been looking for some videos like this for awhile so it’s great to know you make them! I was wondering where do you buy your original nendroids? I’ve been wanting to buy for months now but cant find anywhere to buy
Hi Jules! I'm sorry for the late response. I only got your comment in my notifs today. TvT) But here's a video for shop recommendations incase you're still looking. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MzCpOJ7x9Po.html also i have newer videos with the same concept as this one if ever you're interested! ru-vid.com/group/PLraEtjHKKj0y29APuUwoO6G7sc1Gk9oXT
Awwee thank you so! I'm going upload infos about anime figures in general this weekend and if you're interested, don't forget to get back 🤗 see you on my next video if ever 😉
Why thank you Aly. ,never would have I imagined someone saying my voice sounded nice lol. I have high pitch voice that tends to get annoying most of the time. 😸😸
Hey Jenny! You are such an inspiration. I discovered you recently, I’m a new collector and I’m fascinated by your videos!! I wanted to ask you if you heard about the Sakura Miku figure which definitive model turned out to be a failure and nothing like the prototype, and the pre-order was not cheap! Does this happen often? Now I feel kinda scared about pre-orders!!
I don't understand the Sakura Miku part tho. To clarify, are you asking if there are Sakura Miku figures that are different from their pre order promotional photos? If so then YES. TAITO usually does that because they over Photoshop their promotional photos sometimes. They do make good Miku figures tho! Don't be afraid with pre orders. 🤗 They're our best friends. Theyre like discounts we get 💓
@@JennySupremo Thank you for answering! And, completely! I meant the case of "SAKURA MIKU 2ND SEASON NEW WRITTEN JAPANESE UMBRELLA VER.", I don't know if you've seen her. She doesn't look nothing like the promotional photo and I'm devastated! I honestly can't believe how much she changed... I feel it's unfair the buyer doesn't have a way to reject the product if it ends up looking so bad!
Ohhh. It's released already?? I thought twas still on pre order. I only saw promotional photos. And yeah-- manufactured by Taito again. The photos might have been heavily Photoshoped. 🤷🏻♀️ I'd rather recommend buying their seasonal Mikus rather than Sakura Mikus. I own a few since they mostly do a lot of Sakura Mikus and most are just somewhat disappointing *sigh I totally get you now
@@JennySupremo I just got this notification while I was making unboxing video about him! An in fact he is real! I’m very glad I got him! He’s in good condition to. I’ll link your channel when I post the video but I’m not sure if I will post it quite yet because I don’t know if It would be a good video. And thank you 😊
I think that if a bootleg is genuinely high-quality, then there shouldn't be a problem with getting it if you can't afford the og. This one 'aint it, but the Zenitsu fake you showed in another video wasn't that bad, and worth the price in my eyes. The main reason I prefer to buy real figures from official sources is because it supports the creators of the series. The only time I'll actively AVOID first hand official products is if they are from Disney, like Twisted Wonderland merch.
Thank you for this video! I like your disclaimers about buying the real Vs the fake as well. As you said it, not everyone can afford buying the original (specially us in latam countries), with Japan post not operating at its full capacity due to covid, shipping to Brazil is specially prohibitive now. This video works as a good comparison and also a list of things to check if one has an authentic or has been scammed by buying a fake nendo at full original price. I don't mind buying a fake figure/nendo exactly because of price, but I'll be getting what I paid, with full acknowledgement. Now, I hate when people are scammed, it's no good. 😩 Anyways, thank you very much for the video! I'll be looking at your other ones in the playlist as well!
16:39 Yes I’m still here! >:DDD thank you so much for this video, now when I get my nendoroid I’ll know if it’s fake or not! (I really hope it isn’t 😭)
What you said is really true, I live in Mexico and I've just pre-ordered the nenderoid, it will arrive until December but the difference of price was really huge, since I pre-ordered the original I had to pay 20 dollars now and in December I have to pay other 60 dollars :( but I expect it will worth it
Ohhh it's okay. *Virtual shoulder tap •_•)/ charge to experience I guess. Atleast you now know the differences and maybe next time you won't be tricked again 😉
Omg I love your channel so much already! I started this year and I currently have 3 figures with one on the way. I'm currently sticking with prize figures since I'm only 17 😅 but since they are authentic they're really high quality and pretty!!! I was close to buying a bootleg on AliExpress but I decided against it. With customs to my country it would basically cost only around half of the authentic prize figures anyway and if I wanna keep these for many years I feel like it's worth it to shell out a couple more bucks
First, I'd love to welcome you to the Anime Figure Collecting Community! It will make you addicted and broke at first --tbh haha! But hopefully you could control your spending because God moves in mysterious ways. Always showing us cool figures just when we are about to stop buying and let wallet-kun rest 🤣🤣 I'm so happy you choose to buy authentic figures! Prize figures are still good. In fact, some prize figures look better than their scaled counterparts. Altho just in a rare occasion. It is very tempting to buy fakes since the prices are such low blow but true to what you said, with the shipping fee across the globe RN, it's way better to purchase the authentic figures instead.
Oml were they sold out. What a shame. The ones sold directly at Goodsmile had a huge discount last time. Try looking for it at Mandarake, or right stuf or Solaris japan
You can also try "Yahoo! aictions". You can use Zenmarket as mediator for it. On auction you can win anything you want cheaper than even on Amiami sometimes, but this depends on popularity of title or rarity of figure
GOOD DECISION! I dont condemn fake collectors but i also have fakes now due to comparison videos like this and they just dont age well. It's best for you to let go of your fakes and turn to authentic nendos instead. Better quality and longer lasting
I'd love to but so far I have not seen any fake inosuke nendoroid yet. Which is good news by the way 😊 I could only do a zenitsu for now-- I mean soon.
I just realized the nezuko that I order is probably fake but oh well it is what is I’ll still keep it and since it’s my first nendoroid Im excited for it even though it’s not legit but it’s better than having nothing :)
Good job accepting but don't worry! Since you already saw this video, somehow, you will have knowledge on what to look for on Nendoroids and surely next time you won't be tricked anymore 😉
I am legit surprised how almost accurate the fake one looks. I also didn't know people would dare sell fake Nendoroid. Now I'm paranoid thinking my Riddle Rosehearts could be fake (Which most likely is not since it was indeed over a hundred dollars and in a small box like the real Nezuko Nendoroid in this video). But I'm double checking.
A lot of people would dare to sell fake nendoroids because there's a hug number of possible customers. From newbies who can easily be scammed to those who think buying authentic nendoroids are a waste of money :( It's such a sad thing really
Personally, for me it's the same character, and nobody is going to care except those who are picky, I buy real ones when I can afford it, and I buy bootlegs when I can't, they're the same character, and they're just going to be displayed anyway. If someone says..."That's a bootleg", I don't care... it's the same character, and it's all about the character for me. Plus with the worst recession we have had in decades, and grocery prices skyrocketing, and gas at an all time high, it's smarter to spend less on figures to put food on the table. I'm not going to put myself in financial hardship over a figure.
