At this point in time, I think all the reporters are aware just what kind of answers they will receive from Trump if indeed, they ask him that kind of question. He will obviously go tamper tantrum and will call him/her “nasty” “fake news” blah blah blah and will lose interest in going further. Instead of making Trump irritated, it’s better to keep asking him questions without irritating him because Trump will keep shoot himself in the foot by merely talking. I hate to be the “doom and gloom” but winning this election doesn’t make all the Maga cultists, Christian Nationalists, corrupt Supreme Court and all the bad rulings and laws go away. Winning this election is just the *FIRST* step in a very long road to get back to normalcy, let alone good. We have to win in November to even have a shot at getting things to a good place but we can’t let off the gas once November is over.

Remember in The Candidate when Redford's character wins the election and asks his handlers what happens next? "What do we do now?" They look at him in bewilderment. That would be Trump asking the Heritage Foundationers what they intend to do once he has delivered them government. Harris has a far better idea of how to rearrange things.

Nixon deserved it, too. Watching him resign is one of those key young childhood memories. Learning fully about what he did when I was in high school was shocking. Understanding that Ford had agreed to pardon him made me ill. I cannot even imagine if we’d seen a glimpse 50yrs ahead into Trump-era behavior what would have happened. The problem began on his watch. Compare the prices of milk, bread, eggs, and other essentials before January 20, 2021, to what they are today. Prices were higher under his administration than they are now. We stand confident that Kamala will be a better leader for our country, steering us away from past failures and towards a brighter future.

To be fair, we don't know if the reporter tried to follow up. Trump usually just moves onto another reporter when he doesn't like the question being asked.
That credit card answer was just astounding. Harris has a huge, daunting task ahead of her. If she announces a policy, the press will demand to know all the details: exactly how it will be implemented and how she will pay for it, etc. The press never asks Trump any questions like that, he gets a free pass. If there's a small bit of policy that's poorly thought out Harris will be roasted for it, while everything that The Great Pumpkin says is poorly thought out (and often self-contradictory).

Trump allows other people to make policy for him, then signs it. He has no hand in the process beyond his illegible signature. If you vote for Trump, you're actually voting for his cabinet to run the country. Trump just wants all the credit, he has no interest in actually doing any of the work.
