I live in Minnesota. He’s wonderful & has done SO many good things for our state. He is unassuming, down to earth & a genuine human being. He a great pick.
Recently, I saw a clip of him talking, and I was honestly impressed. Had on a t-shirt, maybe a hat, but his speaking points were all facts and for the people.

My son is a teacher and jumped for joy when he heard Walz was a former teacher. My son is a high school chemistry teacher and makes sure every year he gets his students to register and vote. He promises them a school trip if they vote. He does not tell them who to vote for but just to VOTE!!!
We love him already he is a godly man a family man and willing to serve his country he will united this country . What a winner VP all around it . I am giggle when I look at Tim Walz bio he was born in Nebraska and he look very conservative which reminded me of Mr. Warren the billionaire .

It seemed to be the political elite that wanted Shapiro. I think that the popular vote was split between Kelly, Buttigieg, and Walz with a number also wanting Beshear. There were people who pushed Shapiro because of Pennsylvania's electoral college votes. I did not get the sense that many Democrats liked Shapiro as a person. People thought that he just might swing the election. I suspect that Pennsylvanians may prefer Walz to Shapiro as VP and also as governor, but Pennsylvania is more conservative and quite frankly backwards compared to Minnesota.

If they win he gets to be #2 for a very uninspiring front runner which will also hinder his future. He is a smart guy so he probably didn’t want it deep down.
I hear you, he signed some amazing laws into place over the past couple of years. We have School lunch for all, unemployment for contract workers, legalize pot, mandatory sick leave, I know I am missing some stuff, but those bills in short order and still have a surplus of money is simply amazing.

As a white, male, Independent, this choice thrills me. I voted twice for old Trump, but he lost me on Jan 6th. I wasn't going to vote, but now I'm excited. I love she choose someone who can work with anyone, and not bring negativity. The GOP only seems to bring negativity now a days. I regret voting for Trump. I see the damage he caused in our nation. We must move away from Trump and MAGA Christian Nationalism. I'll vote Kamala. She brings hope.

I was dreading what I thought was the inevitable choice of Shapiro. Even the optics of him and Kamala together were terrible. They both looked too coastal elitist and out of touch. With this pick Kamala shows us what she’s made of and I LOVE IT

He has a resemblance to Dwight D. Eisenhour. Ike was a commissioned General, Tim a US Army enlisted Sergeant Major. Tim is also an educator and statesman. Both Ike and Tim were/are leaders on different scales, assigned jobs to get results.

Former farm girl from Michigan here. Besides his public school and military experience, I can totally picture Tim Walz sitting in on the local farm bureau members meeting and discussing the virtues of using a live bull versus artificial insemination. He's a total package and will have incredibly wide appeal. The time is short and the immediacy of his likeability is a great feature.
