Or self defense or national defense or protecting life limb or property. Nope it’s just there to remind the people in government they work for us and there’s consequences if you don’t. Voting is the American public choosing the non violent way of changing its government. It’s really that simple.
@@phouleSk8s You seem confused... so here is the 2nd Amendment (the Right to Bear Arms) in it's entirety WORD FOR WORD: *A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.* It was actually written in very simple plain language to prevent rambling interpretations like yours.
@@PureMagma right, but what did that mean back then? Well regulated militia ?Why is every single Bill of Rights about the individual rights except for the second one? How does that work out? I've heard people interpret it both ways. Like it's only set up for the militia, and it's only set up for the individual, and it's weird how simple words can be interpreted so differently depending on the way you look at it.
"We can make sure we don't have reciprocal carry among states." What? Why? How is that common sense? No one expects to require a driver's license for each state they pass through.
👆 exactly, makes no sense, one of the biggest issues I have with carry permits (besides the issue of actually having to need one or I get in trouble for exercising an right) and that even with a permit, I’m still limited as where I can go.
@@awilliams5007 I'm willing to be that they want the same violence free utopia that we do. The problem is that they go about it backwards. Everyone with any experience know that you don't deter attack by looking weak.
BRAVO!!!! I spent 20 years on active duty and spent no time in an active war zone. I've said over and over that I swore an oath...and to this day....18 years in retirement, I still hold that oath as sacred and agree 100% with EVERY word you just said about him.
For real though, would this qualify as stolen valor? Its weird cause he didnt go into combat but was in the army so idk how that works its like pseudo stolen valor? Its a VP candidate so sadly it probably wont matter , enough.
@@Maxst33le , The Stolen Valor Act of 2013 was signed by President Barack Obama on June 3, 2013.[38] The Act makes it a federal crime to fraudulently claim to be a recipient of certain military decorations or medals in order to obtain money, property, or other tangible benefit.[39][40] - www.congress.gov/bill/113th-congress/house-bill/258
@mattskallerud6718 That's amore. Also that's hilarious I have more combat zone experience than him. Did 2 deployments. One to Kuwait and the other to UAE. The Kuwait one I went to Iraq for 5 days which is a combat zone. But even then I don't claim it.
@@triviszla1536 did he? know what he did do? undo OWEbombas fuhrerbefel automatically placing certain vets on NICS list without due process. he also undid OWEbombas fuhrerbefel banning the reimportation of milsurps. he also appointed 3 constitutionalist judges paying 2A dividends even as i type. trump did more for 2A than any president in my lifetime except maybe reagan.
He never went to war. He served in the national gaurd; when his unit received orders to deploy to Iraq he disregarded the chain of command and took it upon himself to be removed from the military and retired. Members of his former unit claim that he abandoned them. He has also lied regarding the rank that he claimed to have retired as from military service. He claims that he was a Command Sergeant Major when he retired but this is a lie as he was demoted to a Master Sergeant before separation. The man used the military as a stepping stone for his political career and when duty calles he turned tail and has been lying about it ever since. These are facts that have long since been established in the military community.
@@joesmith-t2z He didnt keep E-9, he didnt complete his Senior NCO course so upon retirement, he was Demoted to MSGT. 24 years, of National Guard, even though he says 25 here. The Guard isnt active duty. They do the one weekend a month mostly. The 20 year rule is for Active Duty. Guard and Reserve have to earn points on top of the 20 years towards retirement. A service member in the National Guard must have completed 20 years of qualifying service to be eligible for retired pay at age 60. A qualifying year is a complete year in which a service member has earned a minimum of 50 retirement points. You earn points by being at work.
He showed what he would do during the floyd riots, he had police and guard stand down on rioters then send the guard into a peaceful neighborhood and actually had them fire on citizens for being on their own property. Check out the Hodge Twins and Legally Armed America
As a Purple Heart awardee, Marine machine gunner combat vet, I think he is a disgrace. Using stolen valor to convince people to give up their rights is despicable.
He never went anywhere; when he found out they were going to be deployed, he left. Also, he was NOT the rank he says he was. He’s a disgrace. I don’t want him or “Kameltoe” to be in office.
He was in a CSM position and was awarded the rank, but probationary. He still had to complete the Sergeant Major Academy courses, which he dropped out of. So he did hold the rank, just didn’t follow through on his end of the bargain. Absolutely right tho, he did claim it for the 20-ish years after he retired, all for political and personal gain
@@BlackViking4547 "So he did hold the rank, just didn’t follow through on his end of the bargain." And therefore he was "busted" back down to Master Sergeant and retired. However, he specifically said he was a retired CSM which was a complete lie.
@@BlackViking4547 So doesn’t that make it honorary. If you didn’t complete the requirements you haven’t earned the position. Sort of like a participation ribbon?
Nope, he's not kidding. Sadly, having reciprocity between states is nothing but a signed agreement and not actual law at the state or federal level. Agreements can be withdrawn at any time, and if there is enough public pressure (from the anti 2A), many state governments will buckle and give in. That's why Moms Demand Action and Everytown will thrive under a Harris administration. So if you're pissed off now, you better hope that they don't get installed in. And yes, I will be pissed off, too.
Talk about taking a 💩 on the Constitution.... Something he swore to uphold....in both the military....and the govt... All that BS he said before he said "So help me God". Smdh. This has to stop at some point...
The Democrats have been lying for so long that it's just become a part of their vocabulary. They lied to Ronald Reagan when they told him that if he gave Illegals Amnesty, they would come up with an comprehensive Immigration policy. He did, but they never followed thru. Instead all they did was make a bill pertaining to companies hiring Illegals. Nothing whatsoever about border protection.
Well, it won't stop. As long as there are elites who want to control the non-elites, there will ALWAYS be attempts to remove firearms from the commoners. And now that they have technology on their side like never before, it'll only get worse. So buckle in for the long haul and vote accordingly at your local level and support groups like GOA, NAGR, FPC and the others out there, if you can.
@@S1D3W1ND3R015 I know.... I spent 20 years working near Ft Campbell with many retired veterans. The majority were great men with character.... A few were not so much.
Took a few years but yes it happened. And to everyone saying ‘he retired before he knew they were going to war’ that’s bogus. Dude pulled strings and did drug deals to get relieved of his command and ghosted, dropping an incomplete retirement packet and his clearing processes done in absentia. Dude’s DD-214 doesn’t even have his signature on it. Which until now I have never seen or heard of
@BlackViking4547 It's said he knew in Early 2005. While we retired in May, and the unit deployed boots on ground in July. Dude is a clown deployment dodger.
@@BlackViking4547 He was a Guard and they only showed up once a month so that's probably common. My DD-214 stated 'not available to sign' as I took a couple weeks leave before separation from active duty that I still had on the books. I told them to just mail it. I'm still in the same city 44 years later.
I do not like him,but let's be honest,he was not demoted,he did not get his conditional promotion because he did not meet the conditions of the promotion.
Not only do the Arm Forces swear to defend and uphold the constitution but so do every President, Legislator and Judge and also every state governor, legislator and judge They all need to reread and follow their oath of office
Oh they will probably try but the supreme Court's going to knock that down pretty darn quick and Congress will not get the two-thirds majority to rescind the second amendment so that's going nowhere
Sadly lying is one of the explicitly protected ‘special activities’ that they are afforded. Agree tho, there should be some major accountability and repercussions for abusing your position in such a way. And suddenly we’d have mass open elections. I do like this line of thought 🍻
If people started talking about restricting women from voting like how these piece of shit politicians talk about banning guns and infringing on our rights, that shit wouldn’t fly for second. The constitution is there for a reason, you can’t just pick and choose what parts you like. If you don’t like it move somewhere else that aligns with your values. Instead they want to ruin it for all of us.
I can only imagine how Walz would freak out if he ever finds out that you can buy an actual "weapon of war" like the M1 Garand and have it shipped directly to your door (in most states) from the CMP!!
You know what, *I'LL* say it- his service doesn't mean ANYTHING. Dude spent 25 years as a weekend warrior dodging deployments like the plague and contributing nothing, and when one finally came down the pipe that he *COULDN'T* dodge, he tucked tail and abandoned his people so fast he got himself demoted because he didn't even have time to finish a leadership course in his rush out the door. 💯 Also, to head off any morons that feel that I "shouldn't question a veteran's service", I'll gi ahead and put it out there- I retired from the military last year, after a career spent entirely on active duty. I even managed to do quite a few of those "deployment" thingies that Walz doesn't know anything about, and now get to enjoy my retirement with the 100% disability that happened as a side effect of that career. I mean, I personally don't think my service actually makes my opinions somehow more worthy or valuable than anyone else's, but I'm also a realist that understands the likely avenue of attack when someone doesn't like what I have to say yet can't refute the actual facts of my statement 🤷♂️
We should absolutely question everything about someone who wishes to gain our votes and be elected to represent us. Walz is a pretender, a sham. JD Vance may have been a journalist in the Marine Corps but he was deployed to a combat zone.
Preach it, brother. I joined the active duty USAF for 7 years, 9 months, 9 days. Never deployed to a combat zone, though I did volunteer to take an Iraq deployment in late 2007 that was later superceded by my assignment to Navigator school in 2008. I usually don't bring up my service, especially to the "you have no idea how military service works" commenters, because they're not worthy of me even mentioning it.
The military doesn't use AR-15,it's M-4s.I think the army switched to the XM5 a variant of the Sig Mcx Spear. The military has never used an AR-15,even the National Guard or Reserves.
I wonder how difficult that deployment to Italy was to support Operation Enduring Freedom? No combat there, especially for an artillery unit. He never went to Iraq, but retired right before his unit deployed there.
Never been to war, didn't finish the requirements to be the retired E9 he claims to be, so he is an E8, NOT an E9. He turned tail and ran when his unit was to deploy, abandoning the troops under his command. His biggest accomplishment is changing the acronym AWOL to AWALTZ!!!
