Tim, I've heard you say things I disagree with, but I've never heard you say anything stupid. Until now when discussing Social Security and you said "Because people want free money." What are you talking about, free money? That's MY fvcking money, money that I earned. Money taken from me against my will. It's not a benefit, it's not welfare - it's money that was stolen, with the agreement it would be redistributed back to me. I've planned for retirement but I was never given the choice to opt out of SS. Why not take away "free" money like welfare from illegal aliens and from perfectly capable people who should be working, and leave the money that was forcibly taken from working Americans alone? Infuriating.

I was working at an Embassy during the 2016 election. They held an election party night of, Hilary won in a landslide in a "mock" election. Then I remember waking up in the morning, seeing the results, walking to work and you would've thought someone had died at the Embassy. My doctor watched me slowly die from something for 5 years and the only thing she ever did besides ignore my pleas for some action was offer me ssri's. I started seeing a natural doctor with out telling her and within two visits he discovered i have lyme disease , i told my fake doctor about it and she scoffed at me and told me we probably aren't a good doctor/patient fit. They literally don't care

The problem with getting rid of Social security, is we have never had the choice to not pay into it. I would be happy with the government gave all the money they took from me,and give it back to me.

Tim Pool doesn't even understand that Social Security Retirement is not welfare. Other tax payers do not pay my Social Security, I did. When working for others, I had to pay nearly 8% of my income. When self employed, I had to pay nearly 16%. This is separate from state, local, and federal taxes. I had to pay these sums from each paycheck for over 40 years. Now that I'm receiving Social Security Retirement, I'm only getting back what I paid in. The same for Medicare that I also paid into. Let me repeat, it is MY money that they are giving back. I'm not a burden in any way to others. It is not welfare. If I live to over 90, which won't happen, then I could get it all back excluding interest, but there is no chance I will live that long. So Tim, you want to cut us "deadbeats" off from receiving Social Security. Great, pay me back all the money I paid in with interest. Tim, you are encumbered with ignorance. Do some research for a change. The money paid to me is my money, not tax payer money.

The DNC has two types of delegates. There's the Super delegates and the Pledged Delegates. People vote and the pledge delegates vote for that candidate. Since those delegates were for Joe Biden, they need to put it out to the primary again to see who the pledge delegates will cast a vote for. Since they aren't doing this, there is no democracy within the DNC, so their name Democrats is an oxymoron now.

$130 for water for a month? I WISH. Im in northern Ohio and my bill is almost $200 a month! We do use more in the summer for the garden and greenhouse and animals but our bill has at least doubled in the past few years. All of our utilities have doubled.

Tim my custom motorcycle shop, is in a 100 year old building that used to be the first fully functional automotive car wash in the history of Chattanooga Tennessee. Of course that was the biggest reason I had to do so many repairs to the place, but for what I bought the building and the 2 acer of parking lot for it was totally worth it. The issues were with permits and licenses for my towing service , which required certification by the city of Chattanooga in order to be on their list of services that work accidents, break downs, and any other situation that requires a wrecker to haul automobiles off of public roads. Surprisingly the building is so old, that certain things like a couple of business signs that are over 100 years old can't be touched by my employees nor I before getting permission by the Chattanooga historic committee AKA city commissioner that used to be my uncle Ben Miller. He was an all American football player for the university of Tennessee Volunteers Knoxville,and then he was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 50s. He did more to help my business than anybody else, besides my mom and dad of course.

Martinsburg has EXTREMELY EXPENSE city water esp if its considered "rural delivery" and Martinsburg also charges the same for sewage as they do water. $130 for water then $130 for sewage, but the low taxes make up for it.

Tim, I agree Social Security is unsustainable as it currently exists. However, you are a bit pedestrian in your pronouncement to abandon it. Many young people feel entitled, as you say. However, those on social security now involuntarily paid into it their entire working life. Had they been allowed to invest instead, maybe they wouldn’t be slaves dependent on the government. Simply taking their benefits is an unconstitutional taking without just compensation. The real problem with the system is instead of a pot of tax money paying benefits off the earned interest; it’s full of IOUs from the government that will never be paid.

I work in pensions and it's so sad to see so many old people misunderstand how these insurance schemes work. You pay a premium every year/month based on your income. In return you (and your spouse and dependant children) are promised a monthly payment when you reach a certain age. The longer and the more you pay, the more larger the benefits you are promised. When you are eligible to receive the benefits, you can delay the start and receive more money later on. This is because the scheme distributes the accrued benefits over a predicted shorter remaining lifespan. The money you out in goes into a pot to pay out the people who are currently recieving benefits. Any excess money is put into a trust where it can be invested or saved as a buffer. There is no personal investment partition. There is ko inheriting your benefits. It stopped being your money the moment it left your pocket. You are not eligible to get your money back and more than you are liable to get it back from any other insurance that you never had to file a claim on. And when there are not enough people to pay into the scheme and the buffers are exhausted, they will start cutting benefits until the system collapsea.

I'm not pro Social Security but Tim doesn't realize that even at 44 I have been paying into SS for almost 30 years. How do I get that money back for my retirement? I save in my 401k but when the Government is forcing me to invest in their retirement program I'm going to need a return on this. My dad paid in to this Government pension we call Social Security for 50 years this is not the Government "taking care of him".
