I'm not sure Kamelot understands just how much the fans appreciate and enjoy their music but let it be said, they are absolute masters at this genre!! Mere words cannot describe what this band's music does to my soul. All I can say is, "Thank you!"
Anybody catch what Tommy likes to do in this song and Fallen Star? During the first couple of chorus, he uses falsetto for some of the notes but in the last chorus when the song picks up a bit, he belts those note. Nice touch for a more impactful ending
I love how 2/3'rd's of the way, the pacing of the instruments speed up. It's a nice and subtle touch, overall this song has some dark undertones with unique lyrics! This sounds promising!
Fancy meeting you round here, sir! 😎 . . I literally only found out about this track today. It's most excellent. Cannot wait for the new album. Gonna see if I can pre-order a limited edition CD later today. I own the Silverthorn and Haven ones.
Definitely one of my favored Tommy vocal styles mixed with darker lyrics. I enjoy this direction. It does feel more of olden Kamelot which I love the most. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album and see you guys in April!
[Verse 1] Silent tears In a sea of sorrow If only God would talk to me And promise me tomorrow Drowning in myself as i Am facing imperfection But the pain makes me feel I am still alive [Chorus] In Ravenlight, you came to me From silence rose, a symphony of coming winters white [Verse 2] Paralysed, caught in desperation Endless nights revisiting Internal conversations Finally I made my peace With self intoxication So i bleed just to know I am not alone [Chorus] In Ravenlight, you came to me From silence rose, a symphony of coming winters white [Refrain] May light embrace the darkest hour Let it shine to orchestrate the shadows of the night [Chorus] In Ravenlight, you came to me From silence rose, a symphony of coming winters white I love the way you sing to me From silence to a soaring symphony My rose in winter white.
here comes yet another kamelot album i will listen until a point where most people would end up despising an album but because it's kamelot i will still love it
Holy shit! I didn't realize they had a new album out. I'm out yo! Off to Amazon! EDIT: Well that was outstanding. If the rest of the album is this good, I won't be able to contain my excitement.
Kamelot are so underrated!! they are soo good!! absolutely love them. I still haven't seen em live so if they come back to my country, I am buying a ticket day one!!
Oh my God! Where has Kamelot been all of my time here, So SO glad I found your trak, I will follow you for now on to... GREAT SONG. Are you coming to Socal to perform soon? Specifically San Diego, but I no prob goin to LA. Thank you Again! KAMELOT
When I first heard this album.... i never dreamed id wait 4 years for the one after it. My life in that time has been an absolute whirl. Music has been the only constant.
This is kamelot at their all time best. The production is so crisp, the drums are hypnotic, the guitars are perfect and the vocals, god this guy can sing holy shit. I like old kamelot but this is the best they've been. I can wait to hear the rest.
From the first few seconds I knew this was going to be good - classic Kamelot sound. It's not my favourite - a little generic and not going to stick in my head and make me want to listen to it over and over, but a solid track nonetheless. Tommy sounds great. I've never quite understood the hate he gets sometimes. I loved Roy Khan as much as the next guy, but you can't deny that Tommy has a stunning voice and is a great fit with the band. Looking forward to the album!
This instrumental sounds a lot like your body is a battleground by delain featuring Marco from Nightwish I’m new to kamelot after hearing Tommy on tarja’s album in the raw silent masquerade.
Haven't properly listened to Kamelot since Roy left, so I gave The Shadow Theory a listen as it had been a while. Wow it is excellent! This song and Amnesiac are especially outstanding.
