A beginning to end English subtitled playthrough of Capcom's 1990 Nintendo Famicom game, Kamen no Ninja Hanamaru/仮面の忍者花丸 (Eng: Masked Ninja Hanamaru, even though "Hanamaru" literally means flower circle).
This is going to mostly be recognizable to people who have played the Americanized reskin of the game, "Yo! Noid" released in the US as a Domino's pizza advertising vehicle. This version is pretty different - the graphics and sound were changed pretty dramatically, even though the level layouts and the enemy placements are identical.

Yeah, it's a curious thing alright! Though part of me prefers the amusement park aesthetic, the idea of the Noid and those pizza contests are absurd enough for me to love them, and there's something charming about platforming around the streets of Manhattan (even if it looks nothing like Manhattan in the game levels, or the game map). I wonder if making levels based on a real map of NYC would be feasible or interesting tho.

Any idea why your scroll power wasn't being depleted in the "water fall" level, 2nd to last? You used the power up to kill all enemies on the screen, and typically that should use 1 full bar, but you were able to use it 3 times and your energy didn't deplete.

What is extra funny, is not only is this a Yo-Noid(or the other way around) reskin, just like with Doki Doki Panic & SMB2... but there's Snifit Enemies in this game!

Well, by watching this, I can now understand why the Noid couldn't use his Yo-Yo attack during the helicopter stages of Yo! Noid--because in the original, the bird which served as his attack was too busy carrying him.

I had feeling that Yo Noid was a reskin of some other Japanese game and i was right. Yo Noid always seemed odd and out of place.

The way it looks to me was that Nintendo probably already had some deal with Dominos Pizza to include a promotion in a game before seeing this title, liking the gameplay (but not the plot), and saying “So how’s this?”

A todo esos los conozco, pero este juego curioso del vídeo no, y no le caería mal hacerle algún parche de traducción para su intro y bonus. Sobre ese Kid Niki 3, yo soy su único autor que le hizo una traducción en español que no necesitaba tanto porque la verdad no tiene casi nada de historia.

It is not a ripoff, since Adventure Island and this game was developed by the same studio: Now Production. Not to mention this game runs on a modified Wagyan Land engine.
