If you've been watching my channel for any amount of time, you probably know that Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is a season of Kamen Rider and tokusatsu that I hold near and dear to my heart, serving as my main introduction to the franchise and my favorite season! So I decided it was finally time to review it 5 years later, but I couldn't just do a normal review! So here's Part 1 of my look at Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, and why I love it.

This show has one of the greatest fights mostly because of how well the cgi elements are implemented. They still look jank but mesh well with the retro feel of the game

As a gamer myself Ex-Aid would have automatically been my favorite. Everything in the show from the themes, toys, and story just gel so well. This season also holds sentimental value because I was in Japan while the show was airing and recognized places that I had visited. Seeing the toys actually on store shelves was also very cool.

I really like how the base of operations is basically just a modified version of a typical ER room. ER room given the rider twist. Sure.

The season that got me into Kamen rider. Honestly remember seeing the opening and instantly feel in love with everything! The suit, theme, driver and everything was just perfect. Honestly the suit had me hooked I just love the suit so much and made pink one of my favorite color. Honestly can’t get enough of it

Sadly, I could not say the same for Zero-One, which has the same writer as Ex-Aid (and before you bring up the pandemic, I feel 01 already started dropping the ball ever since Gai Amatsu steps into the forefront).

I feel like the issue is also on with the executive producer. However, got a give some credit for the writer on rewriting the final arc in somewhat a clean format

I’m so excited for the Zenkaiger then to now review, because of Magine. Also, I finally got the Vroom Magine Zenkaioh combo. Kuroto and Kiriya are the two best characters in the series.

I got into this one thanks to my brother and his friend, and I was in awe of the designs. Like seriously, I loved the concept of video game genre heroes.

for showa I would say that Kamen rider amazon was my favorite. He had really nice design and i loved how dark it kind of was. For Heisei I would say Kamen rider kabuto was my favorite. he had such a sleek design. the cast off to reveal the true form was amazing and i loved how the horn connected from top to bottom. And then for Reiwa i would say saber. I loved the motif of using books and swords. It was so cool, and I really enjoyed the show.

Ex aid was my first rider series too, I was really new to toku back then in 2016 and I didn’t know what toku was… It’s still a rewatchable show

GOD!, I freaking love ex aid, I think is my favorite Rider season after Den-O (Cause Imagins lol), all the cast is so funny and enjoyable to watch, that's the principal thing Im looking on a Kamen Rider show, the story is truly interesting and involving, the villans are probably are one of the best Evil Riders in the Hensei era (not the best because that's Evolt 😂), I enjoyed every single episode of this show I Never felt like it was unnecessary or bored about it, even the filler episode was so much fun and got me almost crying with Burgerrmon.....he was a good boy 🥲, also the Gimmick of this season the Gasshats are so much fun, I love their sounds and uses, are just so satisfying to hear (I can't stop hearing the Paradox Henshin Sounds), I can't say enough good things about this season, in my opinion the best Season of KR the I see to date! (sorry Den-O and Build!! 😭)

Admittedly, the design of the main Rider does go pretty off road when compared to the previous incarnation, but to me, it's not only one of the most unique, but my favorite design. It's so different, but it looks so cool, in my opinion. And being a big gamer myself and with this having a video game motif, I can't help but love it.

aw dude i was kinda put off intitially by the designs but seeing your passion for the show and hearing how much it esculates and holds stakes got me interested and I'll be giving it a try, My first rider show was Kuuga and It got me hooked onto the franchise as a whole, this video reminds me of the hype i felt on my first viewing and I wanna thank you for capturing that feeling with it, dont know if I'll get a response but I was wondering how you feel about kuuga as that show is my fave

thomasjujube also, it’s too bad there’s not a bedrock edition version of Kamen Rider Craft. I hope the creator of that mod copies it and transfers it over to the bed rock addition, so that way the players who only use that version can fight ride players in survival mode and stuff. For those of us in creative mode, we can basically mix and match the armor, if that’s actually possible.

One of the best seasons. Interesting premise and great characters. Negative I would say Emu while good other riders from diferent seasons are better at least to me, and I feel that the rest of the cast really overshafows him. I knoe in some seasons one character may win the favor of the fans but here I feel the rest are better than Emu
