I believe, Max did an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING JOB👍🏽 I think, Nev, and Max, had an Outstanding partnership, and together They made an incredibly successful RELATIONSHIP, and That is How “CATFISH” became so Very Popular 🥰 People get different opportunities in their lives, and that is why Max decided to pursue different avenues, that opened the door for a new spot for Her, which She was extremely Lucky to get the opportunity to pursue.

Most folk go on like 200 one night stands till they hit age 30 then pick up girl/dude 201 the exact same way then ask "why aren't you in love with me?". Or they "see each other" for 18 months then start worrying about the "exclusive talk". Lol that would be like me going "Hey so I slept with Sally last night but I don't wanna be single no more, wanna be my gf?". I just can't with this. Don't mean to be a partypooper, still gonna tho. The show has great entertainment value but the chance of this all being real is extremely small. The amount of people catfishing or being a scamartist and voluntarily letting themselves get exposed full face on national television, should be comparable with the amount of people that would voluntarily tell their deep dark secrets in front of a big crowd (this actually being even less damaging to their reputation) Honestly, it would already be impressive if you'd find a few, let alone this many to fill a show with this many episodes. And isnt it suspicious that the positions, camera and microphone quality of all the catfishes are always just as professional as the other people in the show. Ever been in a zoom meeting or class? There are just too little glitchy backlight pixel forehead or doublechin angles to be even remotely realistic 🤣. But it is entertaining and it's a good educational warning still ofc. So i don't mind it being fake

I think it's disgusting and sad that a young girl who doesn't have social media is considered a red flag or weird, like I'm 19 and I only have Snapchat and Reddit because the world does not deserve constant updates on my life, looks, achievements and milestones, the important people that need to know have my number, social media disgust me. It's creepy that people need to have these life indexes for the world to look up and down when they please.
I'm 27 and I completely agree. I post on facebook a couple of times/year, but I refuse Snapchat, instagram, Twitter and so on because I don't like the way people act like they're perfect when no one is. It's a ridicoulous game if you ask me. So for it to be a red flag if someone doesn't use social media is just a sad bi-effect of todays society.

At 37:29 when Nev stands up for Kamie you can tell that he didn't actually say that at the time. It was added in post production. It looked bad letting the guy go back and forth with Kamie so they recorded Nev standing up for her after the episode aired to not make it look like he just sat there and allowed him to do that.
