Brothers Yamazaki is a weird card from 18 years ago that works best when they're in a pair, Wheeler loves Kamigawa, and as he said at the beginning, "It's commander, lighten up". It's not allowed within the rules of commander but when you're playing with friends you can just do whatever if your friends are ok with it.

I'm new to commander, can somebody help me out: Why does Ben use Teferis Protection in situations that are (at least for me) completely fine? Why does he burn the spell?

Sometimes you play around combat tricks. other times you burn a powerful spell to even the odds and have a good time with everybody. Ben's deck was probably a bit stronger than he anticipated, so he adapted

Been binging their commander videos this month, and I agree, he seems to always build decks quite a bit stronger than the rest and then downplay it tremendously. Just watched their Classmander video and it was pretty obnoxious.

Audio is terrible, video editing is basic and the overlay looks dated and cluttered. This channel really needs alot of work because this is mostly unwatchable.
