I have 2 pumps, and they are working great! My only issue was trying to adjust the amounts and times, but with the video's help, finally figured that out!
Since the unit will need to be placed higher than the sump, but not directly over it, does this come with a wall mount? If not, what would you suggest to attach to a wall high enough to be higher than the sump and dosing container?
@@CoralVueTV I see, thanks... Just for reference, probably your main competitor, the Coral Box single channel WiFi Dosing Pump has a simple plastic wall mount included in the box.
Can you use the manual dosing function in addition to the scheduled plan function? i.e. I have a plan set for 12 daily dosings, but to make small adjustments, can I use the manual dosing function without interrupting or interfering with my planned schedule?
How does this do on small doses? I’ve got a small tank and only dose about 6mil per day. Could I do multiple 1-2 ml doses? I ask because it looks like it pumps fairly fast.
Curious Why Kamoer didn’t enable the X1 to be able to dose once an hour around the clock? (24times rather then the 12 times max) Could this be an improvement that could be added in the future with a update?
The X1 bluetooth version is limited to only 12 dosing times, it cannot be updated. Later next year there will be a wifi version as well which will have 24 dosing cycles. Thank you for your understanding.
Thanks. But why not simply have the app/firmware updated for these units? Or this this another ‘sales ploy’ for us X1 BT users to buy the WiFi versions? Sorry to say this sure appears to be a trend with your product releases.(Intensional limitations) A great product...but it sure could be more versatile. Thanks again for your reply.
I have 3 pumps X1 ,tried to set up a plan add and doesn’t do anything just buffering for over 20 minutes loosing patience here I tried everything nothing works!!!
I made a ticket on how to remove a plan . but the rep didn't know how do remove a plan. so I erased the app and re installed the app and the app remembered my old plan so how do u delete a plan? are u stuck with the plan that u programmed from the beginning / there is no delete plan button?
I’m having issues with this pump, I connected it and I see it on the app but ever since I connected it, it won’t stop running. It’s running constantly. Even after I added a plan to add 15 ml daily, plan broke it down throughout day, but pump won’t stop running? Please help…
Sorry to hear of the odd issues you are having. Sounds like your X1 may be stuck in calibration or prime setting. Please submit a support ticket at support.coralvue.com for an agent to get your issue resolved.
@@CoralVueTV Your tech basically told me there is nothing to be done as it sounds like this is a hardware issue. So I basically have to throw away pump and buy a new one? Make sure it wont be this brand if I do.
Is it possible to add more than 12 point in time dosing schedule? I want to use this on my Kalk reactor and would like to dose every 30mins or every hour. So need to dost 24-48 times a day.
The X1 is limited to 12 dosings per day so you will only have 12points in the dosing schedule. I would suggest you look into a continuous dose pump like the Kamoer FX-STP. It is better suited for the job. With Kalk it is less problematic and if you continuously administer kalk solution to the system.
Does this pump need to be connected back to the phone after a power outage or will it keep dosing. Mine after a power outage the red light blinks and I do not know why until I connect my phone back to it
The red blinking light indicates it needs to be reconnected to the app to synchronize the time. Parameters and settings are stored in flash it's just that the doser does know if it was an hour power outage or a 8 hour power outage.
What size tubing does your container have? The dosing tubing is a rather standard size but may require a reducing barbed adapter to make the connection between the two tubing sizes.
CoralVue dang. I was thinking the 6000ml a day capability would be perfect for a .5 to 1gal a day AWC on a nano. Having a WiFi capable AWC that would be amazing
@@andreasbergmann8780 You can always get a reducing barb fitting from 1/8 to 1/4in OD to make it work. I dose EasyBooster phyto gel with my X1 with no issues.
CoralVue most DIY fishfood or live zooplankton feeder work with a larger tube diameter for clotting etc. so I search for a dosing pump which can handle tube sizes of 6mm inner diameter
The X1 setup using Bluetooth which only has a certain reach. You only need to connect when making changes to the dosing schedule or calibrating. Otherwise, the X1 will work as programmed without the need to be connected.
