It means that his hand is almost penetrating the gloves, If he do a jab with same power. His gloves might be broken a little, His gloves made with leather not cloth
Not to mention that same punch shattering ribs like they were chopsticks like hell even when Anderson was blocking kamogawas punches with his forearms he felt the force rattle his bones
ye he is and he only landed like 3 punches and was 2/3 weightclasses below his opponents edit: correction it was even more weightclasses like 6 weightclasses under Anderson
@@HunteR1199 Much smaller. Bantamweight is Kamogawa's weight. Anderson is Welterweight. Bantamweight then Super Bantamweight/Featherweight Jr then Featherweight then Super Featherweight/Lightweight Jr then Lightweight then Super Lightweight/Welterweight Jr and finally Welterweight. Kamogawa is like 6 weight classes smaller than Anderson. Kamogawa is around 115 to 118 pounds. Anderson is around 147.
In terms of importance and scale. This is definitely the best fight. There's better fights if you're looking at the matches technically but overall I have to give it to this one.

I love how early on in the series, Ippo fights someone using a cross guard (I think it was Kenta) and Kamogawa immediately tells Ippo to hammer the body instead of aiming for the head. Man had EXPERIENCE.
Saying Kamogawa destroyed Anderson because of Pearl Harbor is like me saying that we should guillotine George W. Bush because he is “entirely” responsible for 9/11. This is the most retarded comment I’ve seen all year.
Kamogawa's fist punch so hard that he only did 2 of these and got a nickname of "Iron Fist" for life. Says a lot about his fist he got for (and destroyed from) this single fight.
Kamogawa promised that he’d destroy Anderson’s body and he delivered. Anderson had his head completely exposed and Kamogawa basically waited for him to block, just so he could nail his stomach again.
