5 years ago kampot was still a nice quiet city..now only bar girls who only want your money....disgusting kampot now is a sex city same Pataya in Thailand...i live in country side away from center...hate to go in town now
Check out the Indian guys food in that grp of food places seen at the beginning-he is on the other side,near the end ,going away from riverside.Authentic food,cooked fresh and not expensive.
Except for the dogs and moto drivers-at night- its safe imo.Problem is ,as you can see, its very dark off the main road which runs paralell with the river so you have to keep your eyes open for the 2 menaces I mentioned.
