EXACTLY!!! FINALLY SOMEONE SPILLS THE TRUTH!!! I've seen A LOT of people complaining that the race doesn't have enough eurobeat. What most people seem to forget is that these moments were so special... *because of the music timing* .
The scene of the blue 911 give me vibes of the rematch of kyoichi vs takumi when he give ups because risking his life in the bridge part of 3th stage if i'm right
He passed in the fog when they couldn't see.... like Takumi used to turn his headlights off so people couldn't see where he was to block him.... and Bunta simply kept his eyes closed at all times
Kanata overtakes other racers inside the fog is like the equivalent of Takumi turning off his headlights to create lesser wind resistance, but also to fooled his opponents.
@Joy-TheJoyful-Meow , do you understand what Giuse and you mean if we combine your and Giuse's comments? If this is already great... then it so means that, if we get more than one season (what i think its already decided seeing the S1's success), then the next seasons will be greater and crazier!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
He made the sensible choice of staying alive tbh. Kanata drives like an F1 driver (makes sense considering his history in open wheel racing) which means he drives like he's got nothing to lose. Taylor knew what he had to do if he wanted to stay ahead of Kanata but decided he's better off not risking his life for P9 in a race
When I saw the Hachiroku appear behind the Porsche and heard the "nyooom", I instanly screamed at the same time as the song. FACEDOWN! It's like waching initial d for the first time, i'll die of joyness
What's crazy is Taylor's GTS has its spoiler down meaning he was taking the zone cautiously while Kanata is just going Colin McRae-ing the sht out. 😂😂😂
Maaan, discovered my fav genre of music with initial d, but hearing songs that i listened beforehand and actually have them in my playlist before i even knew mf ghost existed hits WAAAY DIFFERENT, when i heard that it was actually hotblade i couldnt believe it
The fog is in the dead zone is thick as hell thats why most racers slow down their pace there and Kanata takes advantage of it, there’s literally no point in doing that.
This anime racing is insanely good. I got my some issues with incoherence with the story, settings and characters but the racing itself is fantastic to watch. Very appealing. Now. What i do is. I see any section went characters outside the race appear like the angels?. I skip forward and ignore it.
Loving the anime, I was wondering - The car that Kanata's driving.. the GT86! is that the same exact car they made in 2012? or is it like a newer model from like 2021 or something idk
If I’m not mistaken, the original car was released in 2012/2013. Then between then and 2021, it got a facelift/different front grill design, distinguishing it easier from the FRS and BRZ
@@potatoking2597 kanata drives the older model. you can easily difference them with looking at the headlight. 2021 model got new headlight design (and larger, more powerful 2.4 litre engine)
@@workdesu great thanks, thats cool he drives older model, it makes him more of an underdog battling against these other faster cars. like how the AE86 in Initial D everyone thought it was a slow junker but it was competing against all other faster cars like FC3S, Rx7, Evo's, Skyline's, Civic's, S2000. Similarly every think this 2012 GT86 is slow and old but Kanata use driving skill to make it compete with other modern sports cars
As an owner of a FR-S, I am going to break it down. The FR-S/GT86 from 2012-2016 is the what Kanata is driving. The car was released as the Scion FR-S in North America. Everywhere else, the twins were released as the Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ. In 2017, Scion died the car returned in the Toyota line up in North America with a refreshed design as the Toyota 86. The BRZ also got a minor refresh as well. In 2021, they released the 2nd new gen twins as the new GR86 and BRZ. In terms of the power plant, the first gen had a 2.0 boxer with 200HP, refreshed was making 205HP and the gen 2 has a 2.4 boxer making about 228HP. The easier way to tell the cars apart from a GT86 and a Toyota 86 is the the face lift had a catfish looking front grill. BRZs always have the smile grill.
I've decided I need someone that speaks Japanese narrating like these animes while I drive thru mountain passes. I'd also need subtitles which could get a little dicey while driving. 😂
Is it just me or the VA of Jackson Taylor sounds very familiar to Rin Hojo aka Shinigami GT-R from Initial D? Also that looks like the gutter run technique 0:28
Nakamura Yuichi is also Initial D cast as well. Hojo Rin in 5th Stage & Takahashi Keisuke in Legend movies. In fact, Jackson is the exact opposite of Rin. You know the reason why.
@@TT-xq5rgNo that would be impossible. It's already on Final Lap. The only way he can do right now is by build the gap margin as far as possible from Taylor before Kamaboko Straight section.
@@metaliczic96But Kanata does the corners much faster with his four wheel drift which let's him create even more distance before the Kamaboko Straight section so I doubt he will catch up to Kanata.
