Well Inspite Of The Bridge Being Closed To Kanawha Falls, And Someone Throwing Over My Line When A Carp Run, I Was Fortunate Enough To Still Get To Fish Kanawha Falls & Still Land A Good Looking Common. I've skipped a few rocks with my kids there before, sure glad that wasn't me this time haha! I'm wondering if they'll ever get anything done with the bridge though.

Man there is a good spot across the river on the river left side off those rock cliffs there. Just drive UNDER the green bridge as far as the road goes and park there. Walk up the tracks a bit and you will see plain as day where an path goes down to the river. Brings you out on the opposite side of the falls.

(37.5078740, -80.8375570) here the coordinates to a spot on the New River near Indian Creek. The carp are so you will need deep sea gear to land.

More than 2 years later that bridge is still closed, and the gps will still try and take you that way.

Yeah Man U'd Think They'd Update Detailed Alternative Route For That Location. But That Aside, I've Only Fished There Twice & Caught Fish Both Trips, Lord Willing We'll Fish Kanawha Falls Area Alot More This Year. Appreciate Ya Watching And Stay SAFE Out THERE 🇺🇲

Yes sir buddy nice fish man your so right about people these days no respect at all was down at the lake this weekend and so s.o.b floated in front of my buddy's camper where we were fishin and wiped out four rods and didn't even say sorry if I got have got to him he'd be wearing that kayak I was so mad anyway stay safe man tight lines thanks fro for keeping it real 💯 later from the blue ridge of wnc 👍.
