The Asano River neighborhood of Kanazawa is an area full of quaint townscapes and historical buildings. Kazuemachi Chaya Street is a teahouse street on the banks of the Asano River and is designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. It is smaller than Higashi Chaya Street, but it has a calm atmosphere.
