Good LP didn’t do SPAD. Auto singling was off and trains were allowed to pass with RED signal with a memo. This is common in Auto section

Last time blamed the loco pilots by saying they were watching cricket, when all investigation reports came nothing was found to prove his statement, he just dragged and blamed those poor loco pilots who lost their lives, such a shameless railway minister

Signal jumping is inevitable in high speed. Have to check the speed of goods train from previous 10kms and also the previous signal light colour and distance between two signals and distance from lst signal to train . Have to check the drivers condition ,if he is doing OT especially.

Guys this is about not to adhering to the red light.He could have stopped. but carried on.This is the outcome. Here in canada same kind of accident happened in Saskatchewan. Truck driver didn't stop at red light and ploughed into a bus killing lot of schoolchildren.

The accident happened because the signalling system was not working at that time, so the station master instructed the Loco Pilot of Kanchenjunga to ignore all red signals. And also he may have given the same permission to the Goods loco pilot that's why he kept ignoring the red signals, but he should have been told to atleast run at safe speeds 30-40 kmph for any emergency stop.

it is the driver error and this things happen when u need to appoint good qualified person as drivers not to do appointment drivers on political influence and without out good quality and qualification, we c this in construction of water channels by the PWD engineers, in that construction they donot c the slope where water has to flow simply construction without and quality, atlast when rain come water will not go anywhere causing big waterlogging in our areas, so these employment based on reservation and unqualified persons should be stoped, ambekar was once told that reservation is temporary but in india for political vote parties continue with reservation and person with no quality will be in good jobs

In Tamil Nadu, some Hindus after converting to Christianity, continue to keep their Hindu names. Ashwini Vaishnav is the best Railway Minister India ever had...he has transformed Indian Railways in his tenure that congress could not do in 70 years.Please check Ashwini Vaishnav 's educational qualification and achievements in administrative positions before commenting..Two accidents were in two places while he was in office,one Orissa Balasore and one in West Bengal both dominant of ROHINGYA MUSLIM population,and it's the same so-called pieceful stone pelting religion which pelted stones on VANDE BHARAT trains repeatedly in West Bengal, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. You must ask why India's development is upsetting this so-called pieceful religious community in India ??? Present situation of loco pilots I will explain on my knowledge. 1. Normal employees for two weeks 96hrs duty hrs but loco pilots (lp) work minimum 120+hrs 2.safty category other than loco pilots 2 night duties in week and after night duty they got night rest but loco pilots work continues 4nights working they will give night rest(present situation lack of loco pilots). 3.normal railway employees in railway got 52 hrs Pr in a week but loco pilots got 30hrs pr(weekoff) that is also not give on 7th day they give after 10th day now a days. 4.every Railway employee daily meet with their family but loco pilots as per situation 2-3 days after they will reach home. And lot of issues are there in loco pilots cadre that is possible in this message please understand. No Loco pilot want to do accident they have Also family.This is mainly Government fault not at all staff.

So Loco pilot is/will be the scapegoat of this event......no one will try to find how Indian Railways are compromising safety of its passengers as these loco pilots are working over time just compensate lack of manpower (which case of every department of Indian railways).......even if Kanchanjunga express trains loco pilot wasn't working over time Indian Railways can't hide the fact that the Loco pilots are threaten to work over time with the fear of serving memo if orders are not followed....indirectly compromising the safety of passengers .....!!!!

Railway officers(PCME, AME,SR DME, DRM) uses railway staffs for their personal needs insted of official duties..so these kind of incident is very natural...railway ministry and vigilance team must look into it..these wrongdoings are very prevalent in eastern railway' s Sealdah division..

Vande Bharat or Bullet Train should not be brought into the discussion to divert the topic but separately we need to discuss, Indian railways need to speed up their tracks upgradation process which is also limiting the speed of the Vande Bharat’s speed and the implementation of the Kavach system is quite slow they need to speedup the whole process. It’s a good thing that work on the dedicated freight corridors have began that will decrease the load on such passengers routes but also the present ICF coaches should be decommissioned immediately and should be replaced with LHB coaches.
