Definitely one of mine! I always feared someone finding it. But I do regret it keeping me from journaling from preteen to now as a big adult lol I would have loved to look back on my younger self and see my mindset and what was goin on back then. @@andipurpose7121 You clearly haven’t paid attention to their story. Tocha attempted to go solo when after Xscape’s third album in 1998. In 1999, Xscape broke up and both Tocha and Tamika recorded separate albums, both of which never came out. Side note: A lot of times they omit that Tamika recorded an album too. Tamika recorded a gospel album, one of the songs featured Bebe and Cece Winans. Tocha recorded her album but it never came out. When Tocha tried to reform Xscape, Kandi had just released her solo album on a different label than Tocha or Xscape. Kandi went on to be a success and win multiple awards. Tocha on the other hand doesn’t have those solo achievements

@JLPerryTV clearly you don't know me to make those kind of assumptions. I know Xscape story very well. Well enough, in fact, to know why Tocha wanted to go solo in the first place. Kandi hated being pushed to the back. On their third album, the producers wanted Tocha to sing most of their leads. Tocha nearly recorded two songs on their third album by herself. Softest Place On Earth, and Your Eyes. Softest Place On Earth is still the fan favorites til this day. Kandi didn't support Tocha singing lead like how Tocha supported Kandi singing lead. In nearly most of the early performances, you hear Tocha saying " sing Kandi" while looking at her and smiling. Why didn't Tocha get the same love from Kandi? I will tell you why, because Kandi is a selfish person and only thinks about herself. Clearly, the producers didn't want to hear Kandis voice on lead anymore, and the fans also wanted to hear Tocha sing more leads. Kandi thought her sexual relationship with Jermaine would sway their decision, but it didn't. Kandi only made a solo album to get back at Tocha. There was definitely something shady going on with why Tocha's album didn't come out. I definitely think Kandi played a role in it. She was using her cat, sleeping with Jermaine and supposedly his daddy too. I have read comments long ago of people from Atlanta stating that Tamika wasn't lying about that, and that the people of Atlanta already knew that it was true that Kandi was in fact hooking up with Jermaine's dad. So she did what she did to stop Tocha from getting her solo shine with her album. However, Tocha does have more single features than Kandi, and her song was actually in a movie. Kandi won awards for writing songs, not for her voice or any song she actually sung on. Tamika does not have a solo gospel album. Neither her nor anyone else in their group ever mentions it. I don't know where you are getting your information from.

I just think Tocha wanted to go solo and they felt that so they didn't bond like the rest of them that were happy to be in a group. Tocha knew she had the voice, but her heart wasn't with them. It's sad because she has the best voice, but the least success.
