@@dustinpfarr1601 I believe you could create him because they had his mask so while not official, it was in the game. I could be wrong tho, those games are so old lol.
I think in all the 2ks from 16 or 15 on you could create every version of him in alternative attires, the 97, 99, 01, and 02/03 masked attires. Even his 3 or 4 unmasked attires.
"Undertaker is the same person today as the day he first put on his trunks, and the only way you can get him upset with you is if you don't talk to him. When he comes in the locker room he don't care who you are he walks around and shakes all the boys hands, Taker don't feel that he is any higher or lower than anyone, when you hang out with Taker you forget he's Undertaker cause he treats you with respect" *-Tony Atlas*
@@atd2480 exactly..if i was in their position i would be listening intensely soaking up everything like a sponge..i mean this is KANE!!! for crying out loud smfh
Kane never talking and always wearing a mask never would have gotten "stale" by any means in my opinion. Undertaker's gong and eye rolling, Stone Cold's glass shattering, Bret Hart's sunglasses, etc. A lot of simple stuff never got stale so the Kane character never talking and never removing the mask would have been able to survive forever.
Yeah right a wrestler that never speaks wouldn't get stale? Eventually the crowd would have gotten tired of it and wanted him to talk. Which they did which is in turn why he eventually took his mask off. It had nothing to do with breathing as he has stated several times that he could breathe perfectly. It was because his mask muffled his speech and kept injuring him and caused him to lose a lot of his hair.
@@randomNpointless Agree with that. I found them, especially the main guy, quite condescending. I felt like they were trying to act like the knew everything about the business and you could see Glenn was like, please stop.
I used to watch wrestling when I was younger and Kane was always my favorite I loved his terrifying demon character. My favorite Kane moment however was when he breaks a arcade machine to get a toy for a little kid who could not beat the game for his prize. I have no idea why this is my favorite moment but I strongly remember it to this day when thinking of Kane as a wrestler.
Way too much interruptions. Just let Kane talk and atleast let him finish what he want to say for once. Everytime Kane starts talking, he gets interrupted by one of the three.
Daniella Zlebcik agreed, however it my understanding that WWE tries to keep active guys out of the HOF. They will induct them the night before mania when they have a match at mania as sort of a last match kind of thing. So since Show, Taker, and Kane are still semi active even if it’s only a handful of times every few years they will hold off. I could be totally wrong but, I feel like I remember HHH or McMahon day that on a podcast or interview of some sort. Like I said I could be wrong but, I agree all three of those guys are true professionals and deserve their spots in the HOF hopefully sooner rather than later.
No it was pretty much getting stale. By the time Kane had unmasked he had went from a main event caliper superstar to a tag team mid carder that wasn't doing much of anything anymore. Him unmasking not only revitalized the character but it put him right back in main event status.
@@gandalfthegrey8236 It made me tune out entirely. I was a big fan of kane and the attitude era in general. Kane unmasking was the last straw. Hell I'm currently rewatching the entirety of peak WWF. I'm sure I'll stop watching before kane ever unmasks.
I’m 31 years old I just got the full Kane outfit I have the rubber mask it’s truly my most prized position love KANE. STING,HOGAN and BISCHOFF and KANE,UNDERTAKER,AUSTIN,MANKIND, PAUL BEARER,VINCE, best to ever do it. Miss those times
Talking was fine however ..Taking the mask off ruined it for me. That would have never gotten stale for me. Much like a classic song ie crazy train or kiss keeping the make-up on
I disagree entirely. He became my favorite wrestler once he took the mask off and became a total psychopath that destroyed everyone. Lighting JR on fire was one of the best things ever.
The initial taking off of the mask worked. When he was a crazy psycho heel. It all went down after Taker came back and beat him at Mania 20, at least for the most part. He had moments but it had a lot of crap. Same with putting the mask back on.
I'll add that by keeping the mask on he could have spoken and become more "human" . At any point he could withdraw or revert back . The art of conveying emotion through movement can be very powerful when done correctly and he did it perfectly. I remember when they were talking about what he might look like do to the fire and I thought at the time his face would be like Freddie so they could easily put it back on without losing any mystic. I do agree with the setting Jr on fire however I could see him doing it with the mask on aswell.
I'll never for the life of me, why they insist on interviewing a wrestler and having 2/3 of the interviewers not have clue, or care, who they are. Imagine any other person; an actor, football player, scientist being on a show where they constantly get interrupted and the hosts don't have an idea who they're talking to
Must admit, I have recently been watching a lot of older wrestling stuff lately and back then I was young but now I notice more and the amount of direction that Kane used to take from Undertaker is surprising and kind of good to see... Certain movements, when to start walking, the pace to the ring, certain moves etc...
It blew my mind to learn he is the f’n mayor of Knox county is KANE and I grew up about 15-30 minutes from Knoxville! I’ve always wanted to go there and hopefully just bump into the man who portrays Undertakers burned in a fire estranged brother!
I remember when I was 13 or 14 years old, before the mask came off, he wore the mask on a WWE Weakest Link episode and he dominated. At that time, since we never got to really hear him talk, we didn't know much about him but when he had his way with the other contestants, I was blown away by how smart and intelligent he is
KANE WITH THE RED SUIT AND BLACK TRIM WAS BY FAR THE BEST OF ALL OF EM VS BLACK SUIT RED STITCHES THAT VERSION BLEW..BIIG TIME ALWAYS HAS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE ONE OF IF NOT MY FAVORITE WRESTLERS BUT I'LL ALWAYS LOVE THE ROCK BY FAR THE MOST HE'S JUST SO NATURALLY CHARASMATIC
No there isnt anything fake about it but for tthr kane character you can clearly see its fake he can speak without on it was just a odd storie to keep us intrested
Matt Borne, aka the original Doink the Clown, died decades ago... For every one wonderful Kane or Rock story, there are dozens of Louie Spicolli or Doink the Clown tragedies.
I guess my favorite cane would have to be the psycho chain right after he was forced to remove his mask then during the time period of the feud between him and Shane McMahon
He used to wear a color contact in that eye for years as part of the Kane character, plus he has taken a lot of hits to the face. I'd bet it's a combo of those factors and the lighting in the studio that makes that eye look noticeably swollen in the video.
My fave Kane was post mask removal when he use to come out with the black towel on his head, he was so unpredictable and evil and then when he buried taker jeeeeez
