@@jonzel472 Guys come on, you're obviously responding to an 11 year old. Anyone who responds to this original comment with "what dude" has a half-developed brain and probably yes, does need it spelled out for him.
Remember meeting him at an airport in Tampa at 8 years old when Attitude Era was popping off and he was the nicest dude. Had a conversation with me and my dad. What an absolute legend.
This dude hid in the shadows for 30 years protecting his character. Now hes giving interviews like everyday and has a documentary. I think he's having fun talking about his career now.
I remember meeting him at a Hooters in Pearland, TX with my dad... He literally sat down at our table and talked to me my dad , and brother for a long time signed our WWE shirts and took pictures!!! It was crazy , we were just total strangers yet he spent time out of his night and made us all feel like he was there with us and so humble down to earth!!! He is very kind and caring even though he looks very mean!!!
Why Taker is universally respected by everyone in the biz. No one says a bad word about him and the only other 2 that you can say that about are Owen Hart and the Saint Molly Holly who grew up like 30 mins from where I went to high school and used it as her billing instead of Minneapolis like everyone else. Taker was the locker room leader who would always give it to you straight and was the Judge in wrestlers court because everyone knew he would be impartial.
I swear, thats a lot of them too. You think its real for so long you think thats how they really are all the time lol cant forget they are just characters.
Not to mention taker in practically his entire career didn't do anything to break character except for the last ride documentary the covers the past couple of years
I thought the same 😂 until I saw him do that make a wish with that girl, and the time he broke character for ric flairs farewell. That's when I realised wrestlers arent what they portray on tv lol
He already said that he can’t write a book because all the stories that would make the book good, he can’t talk about because his mom is still alive and he enjoys being married to Michelle McCool!! Lol
@@bigcurt2012 I look at it shouldn't matter. It's the past. and Michelle shouldn;t get mad but that says a lot about her that she looking for a way out in my opinion lol.
There's a difference in being drunk, but still being able to walk down the street, or be able to still have a somewhat coherent conversation, and being drunk and not even being able to stand up. I think thats the difference between Taker and Flair. Both legendery drinkers, but there's a difference
i love how much Taker has been sharing.. when asked about if anyone was an outcast 4:55 he didn't mention anyone by name and after telling stories of his own partying says " if you didn't drink you didn't drink that's fine ".. man knows the difference between being a leader and being on top
It doesn't really have much to do with his mom. More on Michelle's part but she doesn't have room to judge when she was messing with Chris Benoit while he was married so it was said allegedy lol. The past is the past it doesn't matter. I feel as tho he should be able to talk about his past
It's still so surreal seeing Mark and not the Undertaker, this dude lived the gimmick so hard and kept private now he's got 30 years of juicy behind the scenes stuff to unload on fans, itll take years for his memoirs haha.
There is no one else I would rather hear has a podcast than Taker cause he was THE locker room leader and he is THE legend in wrestling period. He is just such an awesome guy and the definition of a real 1. That man is so legendary I don’t think there will ever be anyone else that can elevate themselves to even close to Takers legendary status
My first roommate in college was 6”9 and I learned pretty fast that he could drink anyone under the table. But now these days he wouldn’t be able to do it with me
He probably knows some professional wrestlers. While he was at Ohio State the other linebacker was Laurinaitis. His dad was Animal of the road warriors.
I honestly thought The Undertaker was being interviewed on the Footy show or something. I was spun out to hear an American accent. It’s awesome to see though 👍
More than that. Hunt it on youtube. Countless guys who sat with him when he drank over 100 beers, bottles of wine and a few dinners for most people at the same sitting.
I stopped drinking well heavy drinking in 08 and I don’t miss those hang overs now I just have one or two here n there . Love the wwe drinking stories there the best and most definitely legendary
The lockdown and restrictions have sucked nuts: but seeing all the interviews that Markus Calloway has done the last few months has nearly made it worth it
Got to see Taker the one time I have been to smackdown. It was the episode when Big Show brought out those big crates, one had a puppy and the other was empty and then big show came out and attacked Taker. That was also the night when The Rock came back and spit in Hulk Hogans face, and the night when Brock Lesnar had to wrestle both members of Team Angle and then Kurt Angle wimped out. And the first ever women's paddle pole match was that night too. Damn wrestling used to be so cool
Really sucks that he won't write that book. I can somewhat understand his reasoning for not doing it, but that would be such an amazing book! Probably would be one of the highest selling books of all time too.
I can imagine that wwe era would have had a lot of heavyweight drinkers, I wonder who would have been second and third behind Taker, maybe Stone Cold and Big Show? Taker sounds like the Michael Phelps of drinking though.
Kevin nash told a story. Guys would go into a bar. Taker would tell the bartender “show me ALL your bottles of jack” they would. Then hes be like “alright, empty all of em into shot glasses and being em over” he would make everybody gargle each shot to make sure they werent tossing them. Nash says just the smell of jack daniels makes him sick to this day
The Undertaker got burned by his pyro on his way to an elimination chamber match and went "yeah no biggie I'm finishing the match, fire means nothing to me"......a bad hangover is nothing to this man
