I was trying to figure out how I could build something like this for myself on the land I'm moving to. I want to build a 16x52 home as well and I wanted a loft but didn't know how to do it and I absolutely love this!

Very nice! Is your tongue and groove ceiling also the exterior roof deck? If so, I would expect it to be perpendicular to the ceiling/roof joists. Would you explain this a little more please? Thank you.

Porch isn’t wide enough. The rockers were up against the wall. So was the picnic table. The inside was ok.
