Goosebumps!!! The Alapana at the beginning by Ranjini ma’am felt like Kaveri water flowing at our feet 🌊 Followed by Gayathri ma’am signature Sindhubhairavi - would have really pleased the lord Ranganatha to give darshana right there 🙇‍♀️🙏🙏

This rendition would remain special for us for two wonderful reasons. One, a soulful rendition of Kangal Idyatako in Kannada set to one my favourite ragas Sindhubhairavi. Second, it has been sung at Shree Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangapttanam on the banks of river Kaveri, adding this to my hometown Mysore's diaries! Thank you to you both 🙏🏻

The starting of the ugabhoga with the ever pleasing Ranjani mam's bahudari made it enriched .. i guess Ranjani mam must give the start for each and every song .. she sings with so much bhava and beauty . All this would be an understatement .. she is just out of the world and i completely now down in obeisance . No other way to surrender than prostate before you both .. you music is more than heart melting and soul stirring .. these words are mere understatements to put forth in all description . But there must be more adjectives which i dont know of . Oh man !! Gayatri mam you are just awesome . What a heart stabbing Sindhubhairavi you started off and gave an apt end in all its glory . The connection between gayatri mam and Sindhubhairavi is brilliant . She reflects the raga with all grandeur it deserves and her creations make me mouth widened with shock and bewilderment for they are beyond imagination. I'm actually stupefied by listening to Gayatri mam . My comment may seem superfluous .. yeah but that's all I experience. Both of you are the personification of divinity . That rajuvedala on the banks of kaveri . Its just heaven on earth . Kaveri touches your feet in all exuberance and you sing that beautiful song of tyagaraja in all glory. Like two ever shining suns you execute it with ease . My favourite was the song on rajarajeshwari in bhogavasantha . That was so rare and so heart touching. What a beautiful and serene voices you two possess. It goes on and on . Ps my biggest blessing was that i got to meet you in person and speak to both of you. You both are so warm and loving inspite of reaching multiple pinnacles . But much love to both of you ..

This song is a Magnum Opus of the Great Great Saint and Mahaan Sri Sripadaraja who was the guru of Sri Vyasaraya, dear Akkas u must visit their holy brindavanam which is located in Mulabagilu which is just adjacent to the Bangalore-Madras Highway, which is a very very serene calm and peaceful place! And it's very divine, his Brindavanam sits on the banks of Narasimha Theertha, which is a huge temple tank just like the Tiruvarur Kamalalaya, The great Mahaan is supposed to be right there inside the brindavanam blessing his devotees while he worships the great Lord Sri Ranga Vittala of Srirangam and Pandarpur! And if u r in Mysore, also visit Sripadaraja's guru the great Sri Brahmanya Theertharu who is believed to be the divine incarnation of Lord Soorya himself...so even today...u don't find a Chaavni or a roof above his Brindavanam..even if a little leaf froma tree happenes to come over his Brindavanam...it gets burnt!another very divine and exceedingly calm and quiet place ...called Abburu near Channapatna .which is famous for the famous Wooden Dolls during Navratri Gollu season!!!!

RAGA Carnaric music and Cauvery snanam have become one with me. Rain spoilt today's Cauvery snanam but drenced by RAGA rain on cauvery. The videographer did not feel the necessity to shoot the river Cauvery since it flowed out from your mouth.

Heard this rendered in raaga thodi but this sounds good too ! Many daasara padaas were given music by various musicians according to their own taste and thus there's no such fixation of raagas for many songs.
