He was my class mate in Loyola college Chennai than Madras in the year 1965-66. He and his brother L. Vaidyanathan used to play violin in college functions.

There are several families of unique styles like TN Krishnan, Lalgudi, MS GopalaKrishnan, Dwaram style. Chowdiah or Known as Mysore bhani Chanda shekhar, Many more. CURRENTLY RaGa sisters,out standing Vocalists and equally Violinist, Akkarai Sisters outstanding Vocalist and violinists, Ganesh and Kumaresh, MS. Kanyakumari and Miss Raghuraman, Nagaraj and Dr. Manjunath. There is no dearth Violinists in South Indian Music all world class one matching another. Some of them play the North Indian classical music but most of them are South aindiqn origin like Dr. Rajam, Mrs. Kala Ramanath, Mrs. Lakshmi Shankar, and now young girls like Nandini and Ragini Sisters. There is no dearth of talint. Every name mentioned leave behind many disciple and family members of excellent grade.
