These mountains are amazing. They're these giants located in remote locations halfway across the world. I think the cultures that surround the mountains are equally as beautiful.

What these Bengali Indians are not telling you is that they are attempting to climb the sacred mountain from the Nepalese side, not the Indian. The border between the Indian state of Sikkim and Nepal runs right across the Kinchenjunga summit. The mountain is not only much harder to climb from the Indian side, which involves near vertical ascents, but climbing is banned because the mountain is considered holy among Sikkimese Buddhists. So what did our Bengali brethren do? They crossed over to Nepal, a nation reduced to beggary by its corrupt elite, and found a few barefooted sherpas who would carry their supplies and equipment, so that these gentlemen can stroll toward the summit until they reach the point at which strolling is no longer possible, and the sherpas have to carry them as well. Shameful. Leave that mountain alone.
