Welcome to the 2nd and final episode of Kangdali where we will explore the complete journey from the start. Kangdali festival which is celebrated every 12 years begins from Sirkha village. All the villagers gather around in their traditional dresses and cover 3 to 4 km distance. They perform traditional Rang dance and music on their way and upon reaching a big ground, the final act is performed. People destroy the Kangdali plant which is found in a specific region only and celebrates happiness. The reason behind destroying the Kangdali plant is based on the real story of a mother and his son. So, every 12th year when the Kangdali plant is bloomed, people gather to destroy the same and celebrate the achievement with music and dance.
