This is why I love Kano. I've been listening to his tunes for about 12 years. Anybody can listen to Kano from any background. A lot of grime artists alienate people that aren't from "their ends", but Kano is all inclusive, love it.
I think it’s because he came out before grime was the grime we know today. American hip hop was the formula so I feel like grime artists from the early days have more or a reach because of that. They approach songs that way. Plus, Kano is just a lyrical dude

Is Kano the perfect human? Here me out. He’s clearly very intelligent with his lyrics and musical ability. He’s good looking, stylish and has good taste in things like his Champs choice. He has a contagious smile and clearly loves what he’s doing. His messages in his tunes are positive. He puts his friends & family in his videos. QED Kano is human being #1.

Lol what? That's just some random white guy from the UK, most of the UK's working class grew up on grime. The real surprising ones are the middle and upper class ones who would never have been caught dead listening to grime 20 or even 10 years ago, and people from places like Australia that would never have even heard of it if it wasn't for the internet. That's the real madness to me

Not only is this just an absolute banging track, but I think a large reason why I enjoy the music whilst watching the video is because he is SMILING! Makes a big difference I think.
