Ah...the great Steve Morse on guitar! Steve Walsh looked really healthy and in his prime on this video. Kansas is one of my all time favorite bands, and one of the best prog rock bands on the planet. I HAVE to go see them in concert again!
I went out with this guy in the 80's briefly, who wrote some of Kansas's songs. I remember going down to his basement, and he had all these music instruments..a huge keyboard, in particular..and framed "gold records" up on his wall, of certain Kansas songs..I guess the ones he wrote, and that went gold. He also had an early version of a computer...he printed out this drawing for me, and there were pictures on it, portraying what he saw in me...very sweet guy.
Without question, this question strikes a Emotional cord, with an ex-wife/ex-lover, just like Huey Lewis and the News no longer play 'Happy to be Stuck to You' in concert no more either. Once, again, an emotional Cord that brings back tough memories... So in the End ...you say Fxxx it ..and move one... Never singing the 'song again'...Men, like me, Do that....
Me transporta a los 80 tan solo comienza, supe ser adolescente en esa epoca y no he superado mi deseo de volver a aquellos años. Mis mejores años estyvieron acompañados de temas como este. La mejor decada los 80,
Power and In The Spirit Of Things are underrated, possibly because they were largely written by other songrwiters. But the Kansas melodies and harmonies were still there and amazing.
I saw this tour in OKC, OK while stationed at Fort Sill,Ok. Memories.✌ See you guys Aug.27 the 2016 when you Special Guest for SKYNYRD here in SLC, UTAH, Ogre
I love this video, I love the split- second reaction of the girl at 2:12 when she looks away from her guy - is that reaction disbelief or what?? We've all been there; young and in love ( I hope) anyway still in love with my young girl after 37 years
