"Thug" has nothing to do with a person's race. It has to do with their actions. I'm disappointed in our Mayor's statement which gives us insite into how he sees people. He should judge people by the content of their character, not the color of thier skin.

No picture of the guys who were charged? All we know is their names and that they are adults. Why are they protecting them when they are so quick to crucify others. Something tells me if this shooting fit the narrative, they would plaster the picture all over. And they wonder why the people have no confidence in the government. As someone who has the same last name as one of the shooters apparently, I want everyone to know it's not me by having a picture of the actual guy.

Make to note that the guy everyone saw that day was found innocent and wasn't charged.... poor guy is getting threats because his picture got circulated.

Lesson to learn is, if you are carrying, you need to be the one to de-escalate and walk away. Can’t claim self defense if you aren’t trying to get away. This is different if there were no altercation and the guy simply pulled out a gun at you.

Now if the honest prosecutors could go after corrupt police, society will be vastly safer than it presently is. There was a time when citizens didn't fear the police and courts, now many of us are afraid of the police because they're not held accountable for their crimes. When we hold those of authority to the same standards we hold citizens to, society will again be able to trust and depend on the police...

So this woman knows who killed another woman, and charged that person with her murder. However, she is also charging someone else with the same murder just because they used their gun to defend themselves against the actual murderer of the same woman, is that right?
