Great show by Providence - they weren't taken seriously all season in spite of their good record and most people expected them to get blown out but they showed what they were made of against the eventual national champs and they definitely belonged in the Sweet 16.

Survive and advance. Really liked the defensive effort in the first half by the Jayhawks. But they've got to get their offense back on track, which is not something I was expecting to say when Kansas was heading into the tournament. And respect to Providence for fighting back into the game. It was a gritty battle between two very good teams. Now on to the Elite Eight. Rock Chalk!

Providence tried to make a furious comeback in the 2nd half of this game, but KU were able to find a way to get to the free throw line and did enough defensively to win this game

Kansas was able to avoid the #1 seed curse for another day. The Big 12 is now 10-4 in the tournament.

Draft class you mean? No. Last year's draft was definitely the most impressive since, i want to say 2014. Maybe it was 2017. This upcoming draft is reasonably deep, deeper than usual but nothing unique or special.

Watson and Reeves - the homegrown 4th and 5 year guys killed them. We need to develop talent better. Cant always rely on portal. This year opened up for PC. Next game would be a 10 seed after we beat 12 seed. This was there for the taking.

I am not a KANSAS fan but when I was in a school my therapist who helped me with my wheelchair etc. always told me about KANSAS LOL TBH they ball, some of their players will be going to the NBA.

If Kansas doesn’t win it all this year, I don’t think they’ll win another under Self. This team may not have the 1st rd NBA picks, but they have heart, experience, and tons of chemistry. No reason they shouldn’t win at this point.

The Big XII can't be the best conference this year when the NCAA tournament has only one of those teams left in the Elite Eight. This tournament has belonged to the ACC.

@@nowayjose1313 My original POINT was that KU survived and advanced without their 1st Team All American Ochai Agbaji playing well or 2nd Team All BigXII Christain Braun playing well. KU's 2 top leading scorers combined for just 11pts last night. They combined for almost 40 PPG in reg season! KU been winning without those 2 playing well yet in entire Tournament. KU just has 1 show up Sunday? KU makes their 16th FF/6th since 2002

Good job defensively for KU.....disappointed in Ochai for not getting open or driving to the basket more. For an All American he didn't play like it. Remy and Jalen stole.the show. David McC...needs to pull up that skirt and stop getting bullied down low.

This team makes so many mistakes and unforced errors. The All-American needs to play like one. They have been fortunate to win as many close games as they have. Bias refs everyone knew Providence didn’t stand a chance. Seems like whenever Providence came close to taking the lead refs would call a foul on Providence. If a player from Providence looked at a Kansas player funny free throws for Kansas And whoever that Kansas player was who kept getting to the free throw line that scored 23 points could it be the refs let you go to the free throw line like 10 times. Kansas fans may hate me but there’s no denying who the refs wanted to win.
