Similar level to Jay Wright (tho I think Self did more overall with his work at Illinois and previous stops). And of course, Pitino, who I think could get another chance at a Power 5 school. Next level would be Calipari, Izzo, Boeheim; then, Drew, Bennett … Tubby. Few probably the best coach not to win one yet, although Sampson and Barnes could be on that list too.

They'd better not! As a KU fan it's maddening sometimes the way we go generations between titles. A 36-year drought between our first and second titles, a 20-year drought between our second and third titles, and a 14-year drought between our third and fourth titles.

did you see that OVERLOOKED Foul @ 55-sec. left in the 2nd Half w/7 on their Shot Clock? It was a critical moment (of him in the act of shooting -if i recall it correctly.) .

Coach Davis & coaching staff; next 2 seasons Goal: develop or recruit A Deep Bench Rotation so us fans can stop worrying about 2nd Half come-backs like this game & others in this Post Season Tournament.

@@--------8453 I agree the bench only had three players that were not all that well prepared for the game puff Johnson was the only player on the team that actually contributed some minutes and points that was necessary to keep North Carolina in the game they definitely need to work on a deeper b**** one that will give each of their starting players a break and keep North Carolina in the game as well as put more points on the board that they left on the court last night. They were gassed they were exhausted and they were mentally not there at all Caleb love was off his game RJ Davis tried to carry the game on his back and Kansas is defense was just phenomenal but in retrospect had Armando been healthy to 100% it would have been a different game if Garcia was there it would have been a different game but we can't live on if they just have to make sure that next season if these guys return that they have a three-point shooter that they have the energy the mental toughness as well as the skill set and the mindset to win games get huge leads and stay on top meaning keep your foot on the gas when you get a lead like that because that's what North Carolina's known for and they need to work on a full court press that can contest their guards in any game because North Carolina prove that they can actually beat Kansas they just wasn't ready for it
