Well actually it depends if you're talking about the Anime Misty or the games Misty. We don't know how old Misty is from the start of FireRed and LeafGreen. All we know is that Gen2/Gen4 happen 3 years after Gen1/Gen3. So there really is no idea how to know how old she is in the games (but I'd estimate late teens). In the games, she's about Ash's age when they meet. If each region takes a year (with shorter ones like Orange Islands taking about half), she's about 16 or 17 right now.
I love how you used the G/S/C versions of the Kanto leaders rather than the R/B versions. I love the original games, but the second generation has always held a special spot in my heart.
Guys for those of you saying "WHERES GEN ONE ART" let me explain in gold silver crystal heartgold and soulsilver at the end you can go to kanto and face the orignal gym leaders (exception for giovanni cause hes in jail and blue took his spot)
So....much....epicness...this is the best pokemon remix i've ever heard. This is seriously movie quality. I'm envisioning an epic pokemon battle right now. I swear, if they don't put this in the "New" pokemon I'm not gonna buy it. Yo DJ! Turn it up!
i completely agree i remember when i first played through the game it took HOURS of re matching them and when i finally beat lance guess who was waiting for me on the other side of the side of the door
Really same thing except I had Monferno at the time and taught it headbutt in the Ilex Forest. Spaming headbutt and finishing it with mach punch was satisfying.
yes and giovanni was the 8th gym leader, but if you notice this is a remix of the gsc version of the kanto gyms were koga is in the elite four and giovanni is missing so gary has the 8th gym
Exactly. In the anime she's older, so I just assumed that for the games too. Everything else you said pretty much reinforces what I said. But you know your stuff. I've had a couple people try to deny what I said, and they didn't even know what they were talking about. They got facts wrong. So, you're awesome :)
Bulbasaur is my favorite starter. The first 5 trainer can't do shit on you, and by the time you reach the fifth one, your pokemons leveled so much they pretty much kick everyone's ass.
Hell, Maybe That's The Future Eggman. He Heard About A Land Of Creatures Capable Of Extraordinary Things, Moved There, Heard About Gym Leaders, Caught Red (Fire) Pokemon Because Of His Jumpsuit, Became A Gym Leader, And So Forth...
Needless to say, it fucking paid off having those tanks back in those days O_O. Jhoto team as of getting to Normal Gym(all pokes trained to equal levels): Cyndaquil, Graveler, Onyx, Gyarados.
I truly think that if all the Gym Leaders from each region teamed up for a regional battle, the Kanto Leaders would win. Perhaps it's just nostalgia affecting my decision, but I don't care.
Good ol kanto gym leaders and Johto gym leaders have been the strongest gym leaders of the series I'm pretty sure. I remember the good ol times of red and blue and what not, and then I play black 2 and I beat like 4 gym leaders in a matter of a few hours and i don't even remember there names after beating em. =(
I experienced it at such a young age, that I had no idea what I was doing. I was just walking around, getting mad at the random counters XD. Needless to say, I never got to a gym battle.
which is why you have, erh, 5 other pokemon slots to make up for your starter's type disadvantages. In yellow you can catch something early on to help out with brock. Forgot what it was.
