Kanye used to dribble his balls, no cap. Nas used to be like “ya, dribble them big ol baskeet ballz!” That’s why kanye watches the NBA, he loves them balls
@@bigtoladon what, you saying you watched ball-less basketball? Come on man, it’s all about them balls! Big, fat, bouncing balls man. Nothing beats the feeling of watching your favorite player grab one of them balls, hold it tight, and just bounce it around til they dunk those balls, sometimes they might go to dunk some balls and end up hitting their opponent with their balls.. just bouncin right off their face like SMACK! Ball to the chin
@@andilegxelesha-maqashu7348 nas did change the game nas had the first album with producers (illmatic) before that it was just a DJ and a MC also all the people before nas like slick rick kool g rap krs one llcoolj rakim they were all great but nas took what they did and evolved it they are all great lyricist but none of them could rap like nas and none of them have his longevity just because they are the originators that doesn’t mean that somebody cant be better than them if i use your perspective that would mean beethoven is the goat of music
Of course...when it's f*cking Nas. Nas the best ever...Jay might have better beats and some doper songs for the clubs but lyrically Nas got em with Ilmatic. Jay was still rapping fast when Nas first came out.
everyone knows Nas always been that dude. they choose to argue that just coz they love arguing thus it. other than everyone know Nas is an all time better rapper than all of them
Jay Electronica gets that type of respect from his peers. He is seen as an all time great MC even though he hasnt had mainstream success or acclaim. If you listen to his early work with Dilla and others , you will see why Tip, Nas, Puffy, Jay etc were hailing him as an all time great and he hadnt even put out an album yet. Dude is special
Great take and aside that he chooses to release music the way he does, he knows 99.99 percent of other rappers/artist cannot compete lyrically. Definitely a special talent.
Two different rappers. Nas paints a vivid picture of how the world truly is from his experiences and his eyes while Jay Elec makes you wonder about the future, the meaning behind why we here and the unexplained.
@@OmarScruggs this dude is right. The only reason you think NaS is better is because of his whole catalogue. Jay Electronica is a teacher bro. I love Nas too but Jay is something special Kanye is just bitter because of his issues with Jay Z.
Nas definitely is the best rapper when it comes to straight lyrics and delivery. He has been around forever and has the best hip hop album every respected in the hip hop community.
He explained all of this in great detail in every single interview for the past two decades Listen to #YE .,not just these clips. Type 2 letters...there ya go
Jay Elec doesn't have much footage of him online. There's a music vid or two, but honestly that didn't complement the short much. Like Jaelon said, it's a Nas x A$AP Rocky visual.
Bro Nas Literally Has A Song Called Adam And Eve - Rap Is Synonymous With The Bible And The Culture Of Religion PERIOD. Hence Why Erykah Badu (Jay Elects Babymama) Said HIPHOP IS BIGGER THAN RELIGION. Even If That’s “All” Jay Elect Did, It Wouldn’t Make Him Less Talented 🫢
@@AHKAHKIit would a little bit. A person who comes up with a story is pretty obviously more talented than someone who just rereads it. Don’t let that religion melt your brain too much…
🤯 I have listened to this song hundreds of times and never realized that…..Nas will forever be Jay’s kryptonite even though they’re frienamies now…..Jay knows
@@vahustler21757They're not, nothing. Jay is an, image nigga. Nas is a real nigga, about balance. And can only do so much for people who do the exact same bullshit.
Nas can actually finish projects. I love Jay Electronica , but you can't be the best without finishing an album. A Written Testimony is more of a Jay Z Collab project than anything . That said Electronica is an amazing live performer.
Finishing projects or albums has nothing to do with being great. You just have to be great. Jay Elect has like a hundred plus songs out there. Albums are a recent phenomenon in music created by record companies to increase profits and exploit artists. Before that people released singles. There are tons of rappers who release plenty albums that are straight garbage rappers
@@E-Jizza Do you have a list of the 100 songs. As far as I know, he has less than 50 even including features. I've seen him live and he's good, but he's no where close to Nas
I KNEW IT, thanks, I heard the modal interchange and the tritone and said "yep, that's Trent for sure". (Just looked it up btw, it's called "Intriguing Possibilities")
He slept on himself. He tarnished any type of legacy by being lazy and insecure in his own ability to make an album. 2 albums in a 23 year career. There's no excuse for that.
