the 15 seconds of peace in On Sight is amazing. The sample holds a ton of meaning too. he gave us what we needed, but at the time it wasn't what people wanted
That's The Recipe He’s decades ahead of his time on a everything. In his own words: “I can see a thousand years from now, in real life, Skate on the paradigm and shift it we When I feel like”
As a high schooler I went to the Summer 16 tour with Drake and Future... I remember being in the stadium and seeing ads for the Saint Pablo tour which was coming there like a month or two afterwards and thinking “damn Id love to see Ye but im broke after this, Ill catch him next time”. Little did I know that tour would end up giving him like a mental breakdown and he hasn’t toured since and probably wont again
@@abel___ even if the Donda tour happens, I doubt it’ll be anyone like his old tours. I feel like his drive is gone. I think the amazing donda rollout drained him.
kanye is not only one of the greatest artists of all time but also one of the greatest live performers of all time. still blown away by this staging to this day
Same :/ I was only 15 when the Life of Pablo dropped and he had a tour at the time. He came to Houston and I guess I was just too young to understand how concerts worked plus my parents worked full time so I didn’t have a ride at the time.
best tour ever and its not even close. My senior year of high school I was broke and bummed I couldn't go to the show. I ended up winning some prize money for an essay contest at school the day before the concert, found and bought 2 tickets off craigs list and went with my friend. Kanye meant and still means so much to me - ive seen him live a few more times since then but nothing will compare to the joy of going to yeezus tour on a whim. It was fate!
@Rikard-Wilhelm Berglund "Maison" means house, if you mean "The Martin Margiela" he had left since 2009, but of correctly meant house designers its "The Martin Margiela Maison"
The fact that this inspired me on a whole new level and some of the comments are questioning whether it has any value at all is just a reminder that disregard does not equal disconnection from greatness
Is Mozart the composer that is being played in the beginning before he goes into On Sight? If so please can you tell me the song? I can't wrap my head around the name.
I won't end this high, not this time again So long, so long, so long, you cannot survive And I'm not dyin', and I can't lose I can't lose, no, I can't lose 'Cause I can't leave it to you So let's get too high, get too high again!!!
This tour has such powerful and timeless energy. I'm always coming here and into another videos of the Yeezus Tour when things are getting out of control in my life and this energy kinda rebuilds me. First it scares the shit out of me when the intro of "I'm Not Home" starts. By the end of the song I recognize that I'm so fucking scared and afraid of what it's coming. That's my anxiety eating me alive from the inside. Onsight is that punch in the guts that hits you with that energy to remind you and confirm that in fact you have nothing to lose so go get what you want. So this punch it's making me throw up all these bad energy that are living inside me and after throw up this I'm breathing a fresh new air of life. At this point I'm not afraid at all. At this point I'm not afraid of anything or anyone. When the end comes I'm all about confidence and I'm ready again to face the reality and ready to fight and not be a slave of what are always bringing me here: fear. Kanye, thank you.
Holy shit this is my hometown! If only I was old enough to go to this concert and have the pleasure of seeing it live. Too bad he ain't touring anymore for now :( but hey I get to produce beats for an up and coming and he's pretty friggin cool :)
Rumour has it one time Oloff was sat next to Jar Jar Binks on a flight. Jar Jar kept kicking the chair in front of him and generally being obnoxious, nobody knew what to do. Eventually one of the flight attendants came over and asked Oloff if he would perform one of his songs to calm Jar Jar down, and when Oloff began rapping the first verse to Doing It Stealthy, Jar Jar immediately relaxed. To this day the two are still close friends.
