Matthew Hernandez pfft these award shows won’t nominate someone as controversial as Kanye anymore, regardless of how amazing this album was, I wish it was nominated
Exactly my thought!! Or even worse, a timeline where he would crack under the media bashing, people trying to use him and the bipolarity/mental state he was in. I mean we all saw Amy Winehouses downfall and no one stopped it. Both could have happened to Cudi and Kanye. And somehow you feel that they were close to the edge when you listen Kids See Ghosts. They are so fucking glad to make it through the bad times
070 shake doesn't get enough praise for the end part , it actually gives me chills hearing her voice come in. This whole performance and seeing Cudi and Ye happy together on stage again after their fallout, it's all just so beautiful. I hope everyone here continues to prosper and strive for happiness🙏
BATTOUSAI BEATS yea they patched it up again after cudi went to rehab and came back out in 2016 because kanye was dedicating his shows on the pablo tour to him even tho they were beefing. then cudi showed up to the one kanye walked out of and they made up there.
There's types of demons that attract you to celebrities, feeling butterfly's when you look at them is one the devil is real and kanye is a level 33 free mason look up level 33s it's a difficult level to get to because you have to be a loyal follower of the devil
Your entitled to your own opinion but I would strongly recommend you watch Prince perform at the super bowl in the pouring rain and then see if you can still say Kanyes one of the best performers of all time with a straight face.
GG Allin Actually you can still say that Kanye is one of the greatest performer to have ever live. Just because you named a legend who had a legendary performance doesn’t take away the fact that Kanye is one of the greatest to ever perform.
@@dameshiesty1993 My point isnt that a great performer cancels out another great performer. My point was they aren't even in the same dimension. Let alone the same level.
Prime Kanye is the greatest musician to ever live in my opinion. Nothing tops the trio of my beautiful dark twisted fantasy, graduation, and late registration. He changed the game.
Ghost town is such a stadium anthem! It really deserve to be played live in front of thousands of people. I hope to see it live one day - very emotional! Edit, July 2023: I finally got the chance to experience the song live at a 070 Shake concert at Roskilde Festival a few days ago. It will never be the same as seeing Ye and Cudder together, but I couldn't hold the tears back - just wow! 😭
it looked amazing, its not really the same but I was at wireless a few weeks ago and metro did father stretch my hands and carti did off the grid and it was amazing but it hurt knowing I'd probably almost never see ye perform any of these songs
8:02 I FEEL KINDA FREEEEE! This shit hit me HARD. I felt like a kid, being free, seeing the ghost of me, from the past. Oh.. the album name makes sense now.
OneSilentGiant I really like the box thing, but I would definitely light up the whole inside with white light so you could clearly see them, and also put it lower so you feel more closer to them
everyone has a few songs they can always go back to, and I know Pursuit of Happiness is a song that people can always go back to and can't help but smile
@@lepepethefrogtype1984The worse thing for me is I fell in love with Yes music after the hitler comments. I kept seeing the “he made graduation” comments and I checked it out and that shit made me fall in love. Now I’m stuck with Kanye being my favorite musician and having to explain I listen to a guy who said hitler wasn’t bad.
I didn't catch the "I dedicate this to Ricky and the newborn" the first time I watched I didn't notice this. Ricky Anderson is his cousin and is part of his music team. He also appeared with Kanye and Kim on family fued. Ricky lost his son Avery (And that phone call from Ricky still hazy / now that heaven got an angel called Avery) in 2017 and his wife is pregnant again
Man. I’m from Cleveland and I remember hearing Cudi like wayyyyy early into his career. I used to drive around and listen to him and Chip, and smoke blunts with my friends. Seeing everything he has went through, and seeing him on top of the world performing this song and Ghost Town make me so fucking emotional. The title says it all, I think he is finally finding that happiness.
I’m 19, living in Cleveland heights, and I take the Shaker Rapid which is the same one Cudi took. Inspires me to do my dreams because if he can do it, I can too.
One thing I do respect about Kanye is how he does promote and support his present and in Cudi's case past artists.(except designer I guess) It's been refreshing hearing Cudi make good music again and artistically these two feed off each amazingly well.
Oscar Garcia he left good music because he felt it would be better for his music, most artists would be bitter if an artist left their label and did well but clearly Kanye just wants him to be happy
Cudis music still gets me so in my feels. So much nostalgia from back in the day rollin round bumpin his music every day. Sometimes poppin shrooms, smokin, looking at the moon in the middle of the night trippin out my mind. Kid cudi will always be like a distant relative for me haha i just simply wish him all the happiness in the world.
@@marcoszzz they both being children, cudi said all of Kanye songs with cudi on were only good because of him. And Kanye was mad cudi was friends with Pete Davidson
Watching this made me emotional :( I love seeing Cudi and Kanye having fun in their performance. Really seems like they're having the time of their lives performing for their fans.
This performance and this song go together perfectly well. It was beautifully executed. And I believe Kanye’s part of the song is his expression of himself, not just to his fans, but also his family, politics, the black family/culture, and his very own legacy he will one day leave behind.
THANK YOU SCOTT MESCUDI FOR SAVING ME BACK IN 2009/10 I could only hope to ever touch as many hearts as you have. This video brought me to tears seeing how far you have come as well as how far I have come. Time changes and people change, but hearts remember.
DOPE !!!! Beautiful. Two Legends. I got goosebumps during ghost town! The crowd singing along oh man! Bro.... Kanye yelling “Free!!” On his part. Just, amazing. Awesome set
I remember being in the crowd for this show being packed like sardines for like an hour before they came out. It was cool cause a girl was leaning on me and she took a nap on my chest. Never got her contact but she made the night a lil better for that. Ah good times
Kanye i know you’ll never read this but thank you for getting me through those hard times when i was a kid. I don’t think i would’ve made it without you
