@@OberynTheRedViper its total gibberish, unless he was trying to get a point across. I don't know if he was or not. But maybe... I mean, this video is proof he's his authentic self, I can't really think of anyone else so consistently and deliberately outspoken when their career depends on artistic output. We've known exactly what he's like as a person since The College Dropout. Whether he's the best rapper or person or producer is another question, but he does stand apart by being honest about his thoughts and sharing them. So I think his message here is "if my honesty-embracing personality resonates with you, good, you're probably respecting your own mind and thoughts above how you think they could be received by others." Or, it's just yabba dabba doo shit, after almost two decades I still don't know.
He saying the part of Kanye that you are drawn to and love is the part of of Kanye that loves himself. You love what you admire. You admire what you want to wish emulate.
As someone who has a lot of self-doubt, there is something so beautiful and uplifting about someone who backs themselves 100% it's too extreme too many times and nobody advocates that but you can become the type who just gets things done/ I'm just saying it's like a breathe of fresh air for those who forget be confident in themselves.
exactly! everyone should back themselves in the same way! instead of making fun of people who fully back themselves. thats just a self-hating ass attitude
@@juannaym8488if you closely watch his mannerisms and listen to his sayings / the way he speaks, you’ll note he has always had a hint of autism. He’s just a grown up version of that now, so the consequences are deemed way more intensely and it’s not « funny » anymore.
@@OhhHilarious maybe love isn’t a great word but I think he has so a metric ton of self CONFIDENCE and TRUST. I know I don’t trust myself like ye trusts himself nor the same level of confidence
@@OhhHilarious i mean he is pretty confident in himself but he still has a lot of moments where it just feels like hes putting a show of confidence, especially if he has tracks like i thought about killing you today and never see me again in his discog
He spoke his honest truth, which are verifiable in the future. Cancel culture sticks because there are proof and no redeemable factors, otherwise it doesn't work
Who wants to hear Kanye talk about how great he thinks he is for an hour, he can't have guest on because he'll just talk over them because they "Aren't on his Mental Level"
"Humbly I would say I'm the most influential person in footwear right now" "There's no way to humbly say that" Ye and Charlemagne should have a whole show together it would be dope as hell😂😂
I wouldn’t say he’s insane. He’s just an emotional outspoken guy and chooses not to medicate himself for bpd. I respect that tho as all it the medication does is numb u to the point where ur no longer susceptible to manic attacks. Life has no highs, no lows, no happiness, no sadness. Ur just stuck in this middle ground. Although I love the guy there’s some moments where u just can’t defend him cuz he’s so outta line.
i love kanye so much lol , he def says questionable stuff but he has always trusted in himself even when half of the world didnt truly inspiring , yall will miss him when hes gone trust me
I don’t get why just because he’s in the entertainment industry people think he can’t work in government , the messages Kanye spreads show he’s a leader of people who fights for change , and a good one too , I feel like he just feels out of place in the world of today because he’s a futurist and so he gets angry at life in general from time to time , and if he had the chance to create the world he envisions he would be infinitely less ‘manic’ or whatever phrase people like to label him as
I think he meant mental slavery cause slavery didn’t last for 400 years, started in 1600 and ended in 1800, if you watch the whole video he added mental slavery “we choose to be mentally enslaved” but all these videos only show the slavery is a choice line
Nobody even tried to understand that he meant mental slavery. Because slavery did not even last 400 years. As usual to keep with their post 2009 Kanye Bad Guy stance, the media houses cropped a specific part and circulated it like crazy while leaving out the part where he explains what he meant.
@@weeb2606 Yeah it's the exact same mentality he had on his song that's literally called "New Slaves", but his word choice and delivery was extremely poor in the interview. Kanye likes saying what he wants and being controversial, but you can't be as reckless around sensitive topics like that.
Kanye is a genius, he is so true to himself and honest all the time. Its refreshing, he isn't the best at articulating what he means, but he says what he feels, but his Bipolar/manic depression gives him REALLY HIGH highs, and VERY LOW lows. So that effects him a lot, but I love him, and I think everyone else does too because he really defines what it is to be human, h has a lot of passion, and just lays out his raw emotion and says what he thinks/believes. And I respect tf outta him for it‼️💯 We NEED Kanye around, give him his flowers while he still here, because he is one of the most gifted musicians in his genre of all time‼️💯 Hall of Fame career both as a rapper AND a producer‼️Legend in the field, he will be missed when he is gone, y'all know you will miss him. He was never boring, and always dropped great music, and stayed out of trouble. One of the few who wanted to unify Chicago. Can't ask for a whole lot more than that
1:36 Ye has always been vocal about artists that deserve to win, even when it's others than himself. There are other moments when he's actually dedicated and given his award to another nominated artist after winning. Everyone would rather focus on him being mad if he didn't win, but Ye always knew the landscape.
Kanye West is the most delusional man in hiphop and it's a shame so many fucking white suburban kids like yourself (masquerade as Tupac is a fine touch, Trevor) have co-opted into his narcissism because of their crippling lack of self esteem. You want to categorize music hierarchically but fail to understand it's a matter of taste. Kanye West's most influential song was a remix. He stole his entire modus from Dre. Kanye's so groundbreaking no one ever slowed samples of jazz and soul. Except every producer of the 90s.
you can tell kanye genuinely does not care about the majority or what society says we should act like. this is why no matter what the media says about kanye, he will always remain relevant and loved by people.
Honestly, I miss when his mom was alive. He was less crazy and he loved her more than he loved himself. Now I think he loves his children most, but we don’t see that part of him a lot, and we will never see it a lot. Him and cameras don’t mix.
