You sound so ridiculous. As one of the commenters mentioned this predates RU-vid ads, not to mention Kanye is almost a billionaire if you think some chump change from the RU-vid ads is gonna make or break his ads you’re wrong. Not to mention the record company takes 99 percent of money from that shit. Kanye would make nothing from ads here. Edit: to add Kanye doesn’t even own this RU-vid. His record label does...

I’m so scared at this point tbh... I don’t want anything bad to happen to him. He’s such a precious person and a genius in his field. I hope he finds whatever it is that he needs.
This is really a cinematic masterpiece. Like we gotta give this man his flowers while he can still smell them. One of the greatest hip hop acts of all time.

@@JayPlays792 People think we're the crazy ones for still supporting Ye but they dont realize we will be praised one day for sticking beside him. I honestly think that Ye is the Shakespeare of this millennium. I dread to imagine how different this world would be if Kanye had died in that crash back in 2002.
Brought tears to my eyes running this video back after almost a decade… my gosh dude deserves much better for the impact he had during our younger lives.. makes me sad but also happy asf
I am an Anglo-Saxon 66-year-old Australian woman, and I could listen to 'Runaway' on loop for years. From the first ping of a sharp piano note to the fading steps of the exiting ballerinas, to me, it is a many-layered masterpiece.
Please do listen to it on repeat... watch until the guitar outro that no one understands makes you ugly cry... dance to it... come back again and again... this was for alll of us...❤

Never bothered to listen to this mans music, always thought he was a hack, thanks to the media. i profoundly eat my words. This was a masterful work, superbly done, dare i say a masterpiece. Cinematography, direction, visuals, choreography, are all on point. The one song with the movies namesake, was soul stirring. Kanye will never know i exist or much less read this. i feel you brother, im listening to this now. Whather Kanye is , is definetely not human made, he comes from far away. I guess somewhere we are not able to identify.
i remember when this came out. i was in college only interested in science, i didn’t consider current hip hop real “art” ..i thought the only art in hip hop was the hyper intellectual stuff found in early hip hop & alt hip hop. my boyfriend at the time (who was from oakland & was a lot more progressive & open minded vs me being a child immigrant & from ny) was trying to educate me & expose me to new things & show me how kanye was changing the definition of art through this film. how he was transcending the narrow boundaries i had placed in my mind about art & expression, how he was taking art into a higher dimensional plane. i, as well as kanye, am a person with bipolar. my ex was telling me this is how he felt taking me in public. that deep down i had this wilderness inside of me that people always judged & tried to suppress, but i am a supernatural force & my true nature always comes out in the end, scaring the people around us. he said this was one of the things he really loves about me, and that he understood what kanye was saying about his other worldly muse through his own experiences with me. i never really was a big fan of ye until recent events, when he finally started speaking out & speaking his truth, even if it horrifies everyone at the dinner table. man, am i grateful that conversation with my ex was my introduction to ye as a true artistic genius. we may not have lived to see many of the greats, but we are alive to see the great kanye, and that is a tremendous blessing 💜
right?? this is so 2020 content, how can one man be so fucking creative and talented to the extent that you create something that is 10 years ahead!!!!!!!!!!!! Genius!!

After countless days and nights listening to it, I can surely say MBDTF is the greatest album the music industry has ever seen, from the depth, themes, production, emotion, inner expression to the lyrics or instrumentals. And this audiovisual project is the greatest fusion of visual and auditory stimuli, mixing them in a completely homogeneous manner that stimulates the synapses of the neurons in your neo-cortex to a point where they spit out serotonin as the niagara falls spit water. Thank you Ye, I hope you stop running away someday and come back home, we'all miss you here.

I don’t remember last time I cried just because of how beautiful a piece of media was, like when it’s not intentionally sad but it’s so beautiful that you just can’t help yourself. This, this is just that, truly beautiful
A masterpiece. I remember being a teenager and watching this the night it dropped on the website. I return to it every now and then over the years. Ye is more than just an artist. One day people will realize they're making a mistake by mocking him. He is truly one of the greatest.

This album is this generation’s “Thriller”. For those of us who were alive and old enough to remember when MJ’s album dropped, it was pandemonium. Kanye took it to another level, as he should. The cinematography (even with the awkward acting, lol), the artistry, the musicality, the truth telling, the bravado, etc… One word ➡️ timeless. If Ye never makes another one of “these”, this one will never age or decay.
2024 years, 2024 years and I was born at exactly the same time as Kanye West breathes, how could I not be happy? Thank you Kanye, we still love Kanye. 🐐🤎
Generic Shitposts fortnite videos on this platform frequently surpass 35-40million views, I know you aren’t about to argue that those content creators put even a fraction of the effort and time that went into this as they do in their videos
Bro everyone talking about Kanye not being appreciated and shit. I don't think anyone denies his impact on music. The man is a musical genius, everyone knows that. It's what he does outside of music that people don't like. Which is understandable. You can separate the artists from the art
Almost spiritual…. This is why we just let Kanye be himself because he delivers every time. All his bodies of work are beyond amazing. He practically made his own lane. ❤️
@@1shyy524 The media portrays him as an "evil" person just because he's married happily to Kim Kardashian and supports Trump. Also, Taylor Swift set him up so bad, don't forget Drake dissing him. It's like most people at Hollywood are against him.
Dude, every single celebrity experiences that shit. Kanye isn't any different than any other artist when it comes to that. In my humble opinion, i think it's just Kanye's fans overreacting in a lot of scenarios...and lets be totally real here...Kanye does some stupid shit here and there too, you have to admit that.
Lucas Larsen Not really. Kanye gets 10x more hate than pretty much anybody else that you could name. Plus, the reasons are ridiculous, like people don’t agree with his political opinions so they hate him lmfao
I feel bad that this man had to lose a family to gain the world. I know he's a good dude inside. this will forever be a masterpiece. and I bet pretty personal for him at that.
Kanye died in the accident. He didn't know. He was in love with the angel (death). He watched his whole life flash before his eyes. But she didn't want him to die, to join her. She left him on earth, to live. He wasn't sure he wanted to though.
This is definitely a strange interpretation. The way I've always understood it is trough the fact that she's a phoenix, which symbolises much more than just death, it includes life and the rebirth: the eternal cycle of the soul and the conscious. I see it as more of the image of fleeting beauty and if there's one person who would chase beauty it's Kanye - only the movie serves to realise that in the process of chasing and catching beauty... you must also be ready to let go of it in an instant and begin anew!
@@stuartzekaj1423 The phoenix is meant to represent Kanye's creative spirit. In the beginning of the film you see the meteor crash on to earth, the screen goes black and you hear a car crash( that's the car crash he had in 2002). He then decides to pick up and save the phoenix (him starting his career and artistic vision-releasing through the wire). The rest of the film the phoenix realises that the only way to be free is to burn (and let the creativity free) despite certain people not accepting it (the dinner scene)
Kanye ran 2010 in hip hop. The rollout for this album was legendary; Good Fridays, Runaway MTV VMA’s performance, Power, Monster singles, short film then the actual album. I will never forget how exciting that time was for me at 17 years old. Most influential artist of the 21st century.
You know what, I used to give Ye a hard time about his ego, his megalomania - his whole persona. But you know what? The man is legit the fucking voice of a generation, he is legit the fucking greatest producer alive, he is actually truly as big of a genius as he thinks he is. Shit, he might actually be EVEN BETTER THAN HE THINKS HE IS! This album, this movie - this is inspiring. This is what drives the universal force of creation.
ngl this is kinda facts like the man is literally amazing out of everything that has happened to him the fact remains he will be one of the greatest artists of all time no one has ever came and became a "Kanye" there will always be one Kanye West. i have yet to see a artist literally change the entire game of rap similar to this because only Kanye can come up with a whole god damn movie that makes sense WITH HIS OWN BEST HITS LIKE WHO THINKS OF SHIT LIKE THAT?
People call him crazy. But if this is being crazy then this world doesnt deserve this craziness. He is at another level. Truly masterpiece. Way ahead of its time.
A statement that is still true today "First rule in this world baby, don't pay attention to whatever you see on the news". This man resurrected Hip hop in his prime.
And should he or she be ashamed that she's a bird?... a Phoenix, isn't just any bird.....😊I'm more concerned that no one is talking about the fact that he "served her to the congregation" literally... he gonna feed birds to a bird... Shows he viewed her as an animal...
