Kanye went from jumpin and screamin singing one of his most upbeat anthems to trembling singing a remake of his song to honor his late mother. This overall performance demonstrates that NO ONE can capture a wider range of emotions in their music as effortlessly as Kanye
He said,” my real life starts when I go to sleep”. I absolutely think Kanye is talented. I think he’s definitely got trauma from losing his mom and it saddens me because of his current state. I hope he gets the help he needs.
This song had a special place in my heart. When i was 13 i wrote the lyrics to this song in my Mother's Day Card and i remembered playing this song for her when she came to pick me up... She passed away at 2018 which had a huge impact on me, my studies, my relationship with friends... But instead of putting it in a negative way. I feel like it was time for me to grow up. I always rely on my mom to do everything. But now it's my turn to take care of myself. I love you mom! Thank you for everything! Happy mother's day to all moms!! ❤️
I am blessed to have my mom still on earth and I did something similar, I sang this song in front of my whole family for Mother’s Day and rapped the verse that starts with forest gump. Thanks mom for everything you do
Just lost my mother 2 weeks ago and this was beautiful to read. I would play this song back when it was out and she will tell me how much she loved those song
Abode actually that’s just the vertical resolution. The full resolution is probably 320x240, so it would 76,800 pixels on the screen. The res also might be 352x240 or 426x240 so it might even be more.
@@losteezy9452 808s and heartbreak influenced so many artists. lil uzi, juice wrld. Kanye other projects influenced Travis Scott through his use of auto tune. I could list so many
This has to be one of the best performances ever. Went from 100% Lit with Daft Punk chopping it up in their pyramid to a very heartbreaking tribute to Donda. You can’t get better than that
i partially agree however (not trying to sound like a nerd) 2014 daft punk stevie wonder was there, and everyone who was featured on the album was there (i think)
This pairing of songs makes stronger, an aggressive banger sound so heartfelt and raw. Love kanye west, even through all the crazy shenanigans. Hey mama is perfection in music
Such a visible grief. Artists have sang homages to recently deceased plenty times before. But this is such a difficult performance to watch, in the beginning he really wants to just rush it over as fast as he can, then when he gets to telling the stories he gets incredibly passionate and emotional.
You should listen to the song roses by Kanye west in the album late registration. And btw, I have gone through the same type of thing with many relatives but it always gets better
Kanye is a musical genius. He is the one true rockstar of our time. People get so caught up in his personal antics and it takes away from his validity as a genius. I love Kanye.
Kanye is the only 'rapper' that can perform like this and capture emotions so greatly. He's in another league. Not the greatest rapper, but the greatest artist from the genre. I cried listening to this.
Lost my mother to Pancreatic Cancer after an 11 month fight through chemo and radiation. I turn to this song as well as kanye's appreciation towards his mother to re live the fond memories in which I shared with mine. God Bless You Momma, you mean everything to me. I know just how proud you are of me xoxoxo
It’s amazing how music can provoke the same emotions in different people across the world. I hope you still see her in your dreams. My mom is going in to surgery tomorrow to remove her breast tumour before she starts radiation. I’m terrified of losing her and I appreciate her more than ever. This song is comforting me when I feel like no one else can.
Bro me too. I lost my mom in 2018 to non Hodkins lymphoma. This songs hit me so hard and I can relate to it to much. I totally understand man. I’m so sorry for your loss.
@@fabi2.006 Hey, thanks for asking! Everything went really well. The cancer never spread to her lymph nodes (which was a worry early on), and because of the type of cancer she was able to complete radiation in one week. She’s cancer free now and will just get checked up on once every few years. She was very lucky all things considered.
The second part when he sings for his mother kills me everytime . So raw and heartfelt . Ye can sing too . Rest In Peace my mama and all our angel mamas.
This performance is everything! Performing "Stronger" with a surprising DAFT PUNK appearance which I really love, and performing "Hey Mama" to honor his mother which literally warmed my heart. ❤
My mom just passed...and I'm coming back to hey mama. Always been my favorite song about a mom. I should have made her listen to this song. Im tearing up at the intro to the song. "last night i saw you in my dream now i cant wait to fall asleep."
Everyone's talking about the Hey Mama performance and that is an amazing performance but goddamn is that Stronger performance one of the most badass things I've ever seen. Makes that man seem like this powerful menacing anti-hero.
@@Snotzalotz”These poor minorities don’t know how oppressed they are!!!!!!” Do you realize how condescending you sound? Do you realize no one gives a shit?
First rapper and only rapper to date that actually hit rockstar level! Up there with queen, the Beatles and he’s still alive and people take him for granted!
Do you notice how he changed the last lyric from the song from "no matter WHERE you go" to "no matter WHEN you go" just that small changed the whole meaning. Before he was talking about how she can go anywhere and now it's about death and the way he stops himself after it.
I can never listen to this version without crying.....I can feel the pain....so heartbreakingly beautiful...😢. I definitely know what if feels like to see a loved one in your dream...😔
