The difference between adjective and noun in this context is that "Christian" is no longer merely a small aspect of something larger, but is now that 'something larger'. It means that the Lord is his identity, and that he doesnt need any character feature the world could offer because he belongs to God! If God is in someone in the same way Kanye claims that He is, then that is huge and so exciting! Finding your identity in Christ so you can get to know God better is literally the best human experience- freeing and full of hope and strength- that no mere human can take away (1John 5:5, Romans 8:37) :))

When you say Christian and then "something", then the word "Christian" becomes an adjective, a word that is attached to a noun to describe the noun ( Christian artist, where the first word is the adjective describing the second word: the noun.). When the word is used by itself, without the noun to which it is attached to (to describe it), then that word becomes THE noun, as it doesn't describe another word (and thus doesn't become an adjective), but stands alone. This being said, it sounds differently when you say "I'm a Christian ARTIST" than when you say "I'm an ARTIST but I am also a CHRISTIAN". In the second sentence both words have equal weight, so to speak. Blessings 🤗
